REKHA...what a beautiful selection of pictures and scenes ...with the beautiful interpretetion of candles and lamps ...Every scene you described was beautiful with complete meaning represented by candles..
I liked the kolhapur scenes you described...so very apt and mindblowing ...and the partnership deed scene ...was also so powerful ...with the lantern .lighting the path to Ashlok ...

And more romantic was the stranger challenge...where shlok tries to put wax on astha's hand ..forcing her to acknowledge him.and her passion for him too ...with the lighter scene...light

You didn't write the meaning ..about the blue shirts covering astha's shadow...

And , NA, and three candles...looks like astha maybe troubled by shlok and anjali ...and priya's take also was good ...as shlok will agsin save biwi...
Loved each and every point ...with pictures...took me back to kolhapur...that was a ..mindblowing epi ...THANK YOU.

@bold
This is what I thought of the shadow scene:

If the reflection in the mirror is the EGO, shadow is the Alter-EGO, that one hides from the world and doesn't completely embrace it due to fear or inhibitions.

Aastha is feeling the blues(she is wearing light blue), in other words, feeling sad inside, because she has doubts regarding Shlok's love and trust for her, as Shlok doesn't listen to her when she tells him something against his baba and there was Swathi in his life before her. She doesn't know if he loves and trusts her completely. That's why she tries to pull back from him time and again.

Blue is Shlok's color. It is a color that has a soothing effect on our senses. It symbolizes trust, loyalty, wisdom, superiority, truth, and conservative. That's what Shlok is all about. He is soothing her fears and trying to make her understand that she is his life, no matter what. That's why, though Aastha leveled accusations on his dear baba so many times, he never let go of her in spite of getting angry... like he let go of Swathi. He keeps trying to make her see his point of view.

Shlok's alter-EGO is his passionate self, that he is trying to hide in the guise of his EGO. He is wearing Red in this shot, a symbol of passion/love.
