Short musical take ... Busy at work but this episode was take-worthy:
(1) Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi (Because a mother-in-law was once a daughter in law): All I will say is God give everyone a saas like Hamida Bano who is supportive of Jodha even as the rumor mills are working.👏
And if Hamida Bano was anything like Jodha ... well, I want to know how Humayan survived! Jalal could use some advice. 😆
(2) Mujhe meri biwi se bachao (Save me from my wife!) : Jalal has enough enemies trying to get into Agra fort ... that now he his wife is going directly into the hands of his enemies.😆
Putting the Atifa attack side, do you truly agree with Jodha going out alone to save Khaiber in the middle of the night?I don't think Jodha going to save Khaiber has anything to do with Atifa, she would have done it anyways.
(3) Kuch toh log kahenge, logon ka kaam hai kehena (People will say things, that is their job) : Many had said the rumor mills would work on Jodha running away with Khaiber ... and they did. And this time, we didn't have to see Maham Anga set them up. How efficient the villagers have become! 😉😆 They couldn't be as efficient in helping Jodha though.
Of course, Ruq's would take advantage of the situation ... Ruq's tera kuch nahin ho saktha.
(4) Tum Mere Ho, Base mere hi mere ho (You are only mine, and only mine): Khaiber's obsession is at its heights. What is the love and care he is showing Jodha with the fruits and jit, if he is putting her through the physical and emotional torture of running through jungles and villages? This is a "better" love?
Look at the havoc he is putting the villagers through? This is not an equivalent of a "nirdosh pashu pakshi" by any standards.
I am sorry - I cannot defend or appreciate Khaiber but he is playing the obsessed person role well.
(5) I will conclude with Awaara Paagal Deewana (My hindi is not good enough to even differentiate between the three words): And of Khaiber, Shariffudhin, and Jalal, I leave it to you to decide on who is the Awaara, Paagal, and Deewana. I couldn't decide! 😆
Tomorrow, we will know if "Nadiyaan ke paar" or not ... obviously history says everything will be fine ... but Ekta Kapoor's CVs do a lot of natkiya roopantar to get there. 😉
So, thoughts on today's episode, my take, the comedy of life in general?
P.S. Song list ... with some comments:
Kyunki Saas Bhi Bahu Thi; Title Song of the immortal Ekta Kapoor serial (sense the sarcasm)
Mujhe Meri Biwi Se Bachao, so there was a movie by this name ; but amazingly, I found it was a song as well (Just Google it - obscure!)
Kuch to log kahenge, logon ka kaam he kehna, Amar Prem (By the way, the title song of the serial by the same name was very good)
Tum Mere Ho, Mere Hi Mere Ho, Betaabi (Beautiful haunting song by under-rated Suresh Wadhkar)
Awaara Paagal Deewana, Awaara Paagal Deewana
Nadiyaan ka paar ... well that's just a movie.
