Who displays true love in KS?

A few of the members on this forum seem to want AD and Durga as the main Jodi and are claiming that he really loves her.

Well, what do we all consider as true love?

Jai Walia was foisted with a bride that he did not love nor want. He treated her really badly but whenever he hurt her, we saw him hurting also even though in secret.

He began to genuinely care for her... bought her medicines, sought her interests and above all could not bear to see her tears. In fact they tormented him to such an extent that he sort of confessed that to her.

His desire, love and passion for became an insatiable hunger... he ultimately made her his on June 19th.... with her willing coorporation anfd corresponding love, passion and desire.

He continued being a confused inividual having never experienced true love before and could not come to terms with his mounting passion and desire....

They both went through such unnecessary torment and misunderstandings.... but he confessed his love eventually.

He continurd to love Bani in the true sense of the word and has always subsumed his desires for her good and went through hell in order to protect her. His love was also his greatest weakness.

Now Bani has been transformed into Durga and Jai is still forced to act in such a way as to protect her.

AD on the other hand is a user.

He saved her from physical death but really she is dead spiritually and emotionally.He is not sensitive to her feelings, desires etc.

She is like a well trained dog... who has to faoolw her master's biddings. Everything is for AD's wants... does he ever think of hers?

His aim is to use her to destroy Jai.

She has been like a sheep and meekly followed him, arrogantly proclaiming that she is Durga and her mission is to destroy Jai.

But to destroy the Walia family is to destroy herself and her beloved kids. She has become such a useless and silly character, one who has no brain of her own. She is no longer the shy but self confident Bani who stood up to her husband until his admiration blossomed into love.

So who really loves her? Will she ever think about that?

The only true lover in the KS equation is JW. He has upheld the word love since he discovered it. It took him a long time, but when he did find the love of his life, he has gone to hell and back for that love. Not even Bani comes close. Yes she suffered a lot, but she should have used her brains a little bit from time to time. She deserved to get revenge - no one is denying that.

But I think her love pales in comparison to his. He literally has gone to hell for her, and the sad thing is that he still will continue hurting, because he must know somewhere in his heart that he will always be second to her sisters...

jai only loves bani tht ad is only using her for his work i think bani should realize this

If it's true love it's gotta be jai and Bani. Pia and AD are too greedy. They're all OCD. They just care about themselves and want to hurt other.

I truly like Bani but has she ever really loved Jai as he has loved her?
She wanted to protect his property, so she hurt him in the process... Did she ever consider how he felt?
She is always harping on how much she has suffered but she has ben the direct cause of her own suffering in many cases.
She had always put her sisters', Massi's the whole damn world's needs before Jai's.
She now relishes the idea of him suffering...
Jai has gone through just as much if not more suffering because of his love for Bani... yet today we see him only wanting her happiness and cannot bear to see her hurt in any way... He is prepared to sacrifice himself once again..
That my friends is true love... Jai is indeed a reformed rake.

Wouldn't it really be nice if he could display some selfless love and realize that Bani's happiness lies with Jai and tell her the truth?After all he knows exactly what happened and that Jai is innocent...
But this is Kasam Se... that could never happen.

Absolutely agree with you. Jai Walia is the only reason that I still watch KS. It is his journey from the rakish, tyrannical JW to the Jai Walia who discovered the value of love that has kept me watching this crap called KS.

If Ram Kapoor wasn't such an accomplished masterful actor who essentially has given life to JW - I would be free from this addiction.

Of course my freedom from KS may come at a sad price Bani marrying AD. Bani who really doesn't know the value of true selfless love at least for JW. He has suffered as you said the most because of love.
