Bhavya, realistically speaking it is quite possible and if ekta is trying to show something in those lines then I applaud for her guts! I would rather watch a realistic scenario than an illogical fictionalized crap! Having said that I think the way their love story has been shown there is more than just lust and it will surface once jo goes missing again and that might be the purpose of this track!

To be honest this is how times were back then. Maybe even worse. Women were not allowed to even look at other males in the eyes forget helping them. Men, especially the emperors, never bothered about anything else except satisfying their lust and getting heir for throne. Nobody bothered about emotions of a pregnant woman and there was no concept of not going after another woman if wife was pregnant. Status was bestowed on basis of producing male heir and preference was given to beauty.

There is nothing out of sync that is being shown. Rather excessive freedom given to Jodha even before she produced male heir was debatable.
