Alright I actually liked the episode because I like the tension brewing between MJ and Tara because while I love seeing MJ admire and dote on her, it's good to see that he isn't some love sick puppy and now his attitude will force Tara to be more subtle and innovative with her methods and tactics.
Significance of the scene:
Like I said in the beginning, it's important to have some conflict and tension between MJ and Tara because now Tara will have to find more subtle and creative ways to remind him of his past - Check out my "Reasons for Tara's plan failing"post for more info! 😉
I don't blame MJ for overreacting because for one Pari told him that Tara wanted to cut her tongue so she chased her and then Mannat came along and added fuel to the fire. Also MJ rejected Tara's Maria idea and went to appease Pari so in his head obviously he would be thinking that Tara is deliberately trying to hurt Pari. Being the protective and over-indulgent guardian MJ is, he chose to believe Mannat and Pari over Tara.
This scene reminded me of when MJ thought Tara was a gold digger and he followed Nirmala's commands and tried to distance Tara from himself by being rude and aggressive - Pari is Nirmala Jnr so obviously she will try to distance Tara from MJ at first.
The point is that Tara now has a shorter time span during which she will have to use her brain and figure out a more fool proof strategy in tackling this ML crisis.
Til tomorrow,
