Ranbir and Basu team up again for new film, starts next year

Mumbai: It appears director Anurag Basu cannot get enough of actor Ranbir Kapoor. Anurag has just announced that he has officially signed his good friend and lucky mascot for yet another film. The duo is currently in the process of completing Jagga Jasoos.

Anurag said, "Yes, I've signed Ranbir yet again." We hear that the filmmaker has succeeded in getting bulk dates from Ranbir February 2015 onwards. "We're yet to finalise the leading lady of the film besides other details," Anurag added. The film will be co-produced by Ranbir.

"Both Ranbir and Anurag have been in talks about this film for a very long time. Since they are co-producing the film, they have ensured that they lock a start-to-finish schedule," says a source close to Ranbir.

Ranbir, who is currently in Mumbai, is yet to finish work on Roy. The actors' much-hyped cameo in the film has made the Arjun Rampal-starrer larger-than-life. The film has been delayed because of RK's unavailability. But now that Ranbir has sorted out his dates, he will wrap up Roy before he resumes shooting for Jagga Jasoos.
