I understand family secrets come out, but all secrets seem to be about illicit relationships they all have and it's frankly a bit far fetched to me. Secrets can be very different kinds as well, but they only deal with random relationships everyone seems to be having. This is my opinion and I am entitled to complain or rant as a viewer.

and the question...how long ur supposed to rant like this...since u r already ranting in the 2nd week..better to leave watching it than more topics about its content. they are certainly not going to change which thy began and frankly we don't unless there is some serious offence depicted.

i rest my case

Since when was logic an important part of any Indian show. This one stands above the rest in terms of no-nonsense, no bs comapared to the rest. It's a story of a family - a particularly queer family and the reason the relationships are so unusual is why there is a show based on them.
I like the way they present, the thrill, the characters and the acting. You seem to be taking it quite seriously. If it were an american series everyone would love it and accept it. Just watch the show and enjoy it. Period !!

I agree that the makers are trying to show what happens when such a twist occurs and the image of the perfect family breaks. It is infact interesting to see the different facets that have come out sicne her disappearance. My only grouse is that all the facets seems to be illegitimate relationships. There are so many different "secrets" that could be unearthed, a different shade to a family member, but the focus is only on extra marital affairs. That's true. But if you think about it this show is kind of path-breaking. The fact that the CVs are even broaching the topic of cousins having an affair is already causing issues. While the forum may not be a true reflection of the greater population, still you can see how since this came out the forum has been abuzz with questions about the cousins loving each other. And the fact that other illegitimate affairs are coming out are just adding to the mix. I do wish they had shown drugs, or maybe some illegal activity as well. But then they still need to show Gaurav's story and Prateek seems to have more to hide than just an affair. Maybe something different will come out.

As for the investigation, I don't say that don't follow up on the kidnapper and his calls. Of course that has to be taken as seriously, but when they reached the first venue and found that empty dummy lookalike of Trisha, Kabeer should have given it a thought in his head at least and had other officers keep an eye on other suspects like Vivaan. I still feel that the concentration on finding the kidnapper and the kidnapper alone is a good angle to cover first. Because what Kabir thought was also correct. He thought that the kidnapper simply wanted to scare Prateek and maybe find out if the police were involved. That's a good angle to bring in because it gives the dummy another reason. And the dummy did come before Vivan's secret came out so I think it's kind of hard to have an officer watching Vivan before the fact. 😆

I am most intrigued about Prateek, as I don't understand his reactions to Kabeer. He seems to hate the guy without any reason. But, I guess his affair with the secretary could be behind his discomfiture about the investigation. I don't think it's just his affair he's scared about. I feel there's something more to this guy than an extra-marital affair and that's why he's scared. The other reason he's acting like this is because Kabir just isn't listening to him. Pratik looks like one of those guys who can't stand not being boss. He probably thought he would get a police officer who would do things his way, but instead he got Kabir who stands like an equal and gives him hell like an equal. Kabir wants to do things his way and Pratik isn't liking that.

About the Kabir and Prateek relationship, I would assign that to Prateeks inability to let others take the reins, he is his own boss like Khota shreya said which is why he wants to deal with things without others intrusion be it his very own wife and thus he's secretive about the calls.
It could also be foretelling of insecurities that may relate to possible future complications in his marital relationship as Amrita may come to rely on Kabir rather than himself
