The future of VeeBa

Watching yesterday's episode I was wondering what peculiar philosophy and mind frame we human beings possess! I'm referring to the scene when Ranvee was describing the qualities he wants in Veera's life partner. 1. He should be hard working and should be good at heart. 2. He should love and respect his family members. Ironically almost all these qualities are there in Baldev . The way he accepted chanchali as his elder sister, the way he cares about Gunjan it shows his unconditional love for his sisters. No matter how his parents behave with him, I have never seen him misbehaving with his parents. He stands up and protests when his Beeji is wrong, particularly about Veera and her family. He has got a heart of Gold, that not only knows to love, but also is filled with forgiveness. Of late he has started working hard as well and I'm sure he will be there soon. But alas! when the time will come Ranvee will never try to check these qualities in him only because he is Baldev.

Nihal's return will certainly add a new dimension to the story. He was the first person so notice love between VeeBa and I'm sure he will be the first person to encourage and guide Baldev to stand up on his own feet. Of course he will be the strongest pillar behind VeeBa. He will play a pivotal role in convincing Ratan for the VeeBa relationship. The battle line is surely drawn now. One side there is VeeBa, Gunjan, Nihal, Chaiji...with Ratan joining them later. The other side Ranvee and Bansuri. I don't think VeeBa will elope at any point, they will win the hearts of their families and then be married.

The point is you might really like a guy & wax eloquent about how awesome he is but when it comes to getting your daughter/ sister married to him, your entire perspective changes..Thats just how it is..If tomorrow, there is some proposal for Baldev & the girl's family seeks Ranvi's opinion, he'l be the first person to gush & say Baldev is a great guy, so they should go ahead 😆 But when it comes to his own sister, all that will fly out of the window..Same with Bansuri..Even if Veera had managed to impress Bansuri, its one thing to like Veera & a totally different thing to approve her as her bahu 😆 Baldev obviously hasn't thought through this..I don think he is even comprehending a scenario where his family will disapprove of their relationship 😆 Thats precisely why i think Baldev will be the first person to think of the idea of eloping..Because again, he wont even comprehend a scenario where their families will disown them..He'l assume the families will have no option but to accept them once they elope & get married 😆 And when the reality hits him & he realizes life is not as easy as he thinks it is, he will probably become more mature & responsible..There is a reason i want them to elope..It has so much scope especially from the point of view of showing Baldev's character growth..

P.S. Nihal will always stand by Veera-Baldev cos he knows the feeling of losing your first love..He has lived with it for 15 odd years and would never want Veera to go through the same..I wont be surprised if he gets them married either 😆

I agree with your views Rog, but I think even if Baldev want to elope, Veera will never support him in this.She will rather convince Baldev to fight and win the hearts of both families.
