@dey yaa agree to you on Ahalya completely. But see Draupadi was proud, so are many men who reject woman for the most flimisical reason. Not fair, fat, father cannot pay dowry etc etc.. and also people telling how could she think she can marry such an eligible bachelor. Man's pride in insult and rejection of a woman's proposal is justified and people don't feel he should get back.
Then why Draupadi's pride cannot be taken in the same way is my question. Why it has to be pointed out she had pride.
We do not have to go far, Maybe in EHT FB itself we can see how Goenka's insulted Payal after she changed her testimony. As if the boy's side in their pride has every right to insult a woman.
Tomorrow if Durga is gonna do same with Shaurya I mean insult him brutally and publically I will not be surprised to see comments in the forum telling Durga was too proud to insult Shaurya like that.
And anyone in their right sense think that Dev's love for Nithya would have been accepted by his family. Suchitra most probably would have put it down tooth and nail.
Same lady would have jumped in joy if Dr Dayal was willing to give Durga's hand in marriage to Dev.
It is the same girl but by the way she is presented changes the opinion in one stroke.
Durga a very nice girl, Nithya trapped my son if she knew the truth.
