CHAPTER SEVENTEEN
Next Day
Rey enter in her hospital room, She was sleeping right now, She is alright and her wound too that gave him relief, her wound will heal in some days but scar will be there For which doctors will do surgery next month. Rey goes and sat on stool beside her bed. She is still scared about the incident, Doctors too had said that, Rey have to be real careful, she is emotionally hurt and any carelessness toward her would lead to her goes in depression, Also they don't know right now how will she react seeing the scar on her skin so they decided not to tell about it until she gets normal.
Rey put his hand on her head, he caressed her hair lovingly. She was peaceful sleep yet he could tell she was in pain by looking at her face. he swore to make that person's life a living hell who is behind all this.
"Sorry kitten, Your rey broke his promise, I didn't able protect you, It is all my fault, I am sorry, agar main tumhe akela nahi chodta toh esa kuch nahi hota" Rey whispered, His eyes were teary seeing her, Bandage was wrapped around her neck.
Rey took her hand in his, He sat there for hours, Staring at her with affection filled eyes. Rey looked at her with small smile playing on his lips, Slowly slowly she opened her eyes, adjusting with the lights, She look around at her surroundings then at the person she was longing to see.
"Rey" her voice was barely audible. Rey put his palm on her right cheek.
"You okay taani? Is it still paining? Should I call doctor?" Rey asked in hyper yet concerned tone.
"I am okay rey, Its not paining much now, Main kaha hu?" She replied, Trying to sit but couldnt, Her head was spinning,Rey grip her shoulder gently and made her sit and adjusted her pillow, so that she could sit comfortably.
"we are in hospital" Rey answered, He bent down and placed a soft kiss on her forehead.
"Taani I'll be back in minute" Rey said to her, She gave him scared look.
"Where are you going?" She asked him in low tone.
"I am going to doctor, I have to talk to him when I can Take you home" Rey said with smile.
"No, you don't go, They will come again and hurt me" Taani said gripping his hand tightly, Not wanting him to go. Fear was still there in her her mind and heart.
"Nobody will hurt you taani, I am here with you, I wont let anyone hurt you now, I am not going anywhere, You take rest, Don't stress yourself" Rey said he take her in embrace, Wrapping his arms around her, Assuring her that he is not going anywhere.
He too sat on bed beside her, Taani put her head in his lap While rey was caressing her hair lovingly, His eyes were teary too seeing fear in her eyes, Anyone would see reyaansh singhania like that surely they would Get biggest shock of their life.
Taani was feeling safe, Staying near him always give her feel of being protected. They both stayed in same position until her doctor came in for her regular check up. Rey carefully put her head on pillow and he stood up from his place so that doctor could check her.
"Mr. Singhania can you go out?" Doctor asked in polite tone. Rey look at taani who was nodding in no.
"No, Rey don't go...Please" Taani pleaded him with puppy eyes.
"Okay i am not going" rey assure her then he turned toward doctor and signal her to do her job and he is not going out. Doctor too nodded in yes, Knowing that arguing with reyaansh singhania can be dangerous for her career.
After Doctor was done with her check up she turn toward rey.
"Mr. Singhania Now Taani is perfectly fine, The fever is got because of fear is also gone but she still needs proper rest" doctor told him.
"When I can take her home?" Rey asked her.
"Yes I want to go home" Rey could feel her happiness in her voice, If her happiness is in going back home then he had no problem
"If you want you can take her home today, More than medicine she needs Love and care" Doctor said, Instantly a thousand volt plaster on taani's face hearing she can go home. She literally jump on bed and sat, Rey gave her a "Be careful" Look.
"Yes Rey please take me home, I don't want to stay here in this boring hospital, Please pretty please" Taani said in sugar coated voice, Leaving no space for rey to deny, How can he, when his taani is demanding something with such cuteness he cant say no to her.
"Okay, Doctor get her discharge paper ready, I am taking my taani home" Rey said to doctor in authoritative tone. Doctor nodded and left from there.
"Thank you Rey" She slide her arms around his waist, Hugging him. He too take her in his embrace.

Opening the door of his car,Rey scoop her in his arms and Take her inside the mansion, Both were happy, Finally they are home. Rey take her in his/their Room after ordering servants to cook some healthy meal for taani. Rey gently put her on bed.
"Rey yeh bandage kab hatega?" Taani asked him cutely, Rey sat beside her.
"Kuch hi dino mai, And you have to promise, Tum sirf rest karogi aur mansion ke bahar nahi jaaogi" Rey held out his hand, Taani look at him then at his hand, She smiled and put her small palm in his.
"Okay promise, No i want to eat something I am hungry" Taani tell him, She make a cute face. Rey let out a chuckle seeing her antics, bending down he peck her lips, Then he took intercom that was on side table and asked his servant to bring her food. After few minutes her food was there
"Rey i am not going to eat this yucky food, This soup and this salad, I want to eat noddles and pizza" Taani make a baby face to melt him but he didn't budge, Its about her health and with this he cant compromise.
"No taani, You have to eat this only until you get fit n fine" Rey said in stern tone, how much he try he can't win against her cute pout but this time he was determined too. Taking the bowl of soup, he made her eat, while she was making weird yet cute faces.

"Very much" he bend down and peck her lips, making her smile. Then he gave her medicines. making her lay on bed, he too slide beside her in same blanket, he gently pulled her into him, making sure not to hurt her neck.
"Now take some rest" He whisered in her ear, lingering soft kiss below her earlobe, Rey caress her hair lovingly, After sometime she slept in his embrace, where as he was lost in his thoughts, the two who threw acid on Taani are now in his grip, tomorrow he is going to meet them, was ready to kill them but first he want that person's name who is behind this attack.
Thinking about this Rey slip in deep slumber, He didn't sleep even for a minute form yesterday, and now when taani is alright and in his arms, he could sleep peacefully.
