Alright so we all know how the media is and what they do.

Sometimes I feel really bad for all these actors and actresses and what they have to put up with everyydayy.

Everyday theres always some new rumor started about someone and then these people have to go home and explain to their families and always have to put up with the media's same old questions and end up trying to clear their name

We'll never really know if anythings true or not unless people admit it themselves

Lately there were a wholee bunch of rumors about the Adiyta/Rani engagement. The media believes they've had some very low key engagement.

There have been rumors about Bipasha and John's break up and many other rumors about Bipasha and Saif hooking up.

Does the media take things too far? Or does this come with being a star?

Does this make things un-comfortable between people?

Is there a limit where the media should not cross?

When do stars need to put their foot down and say enough is enough?

Is the media why ppl from the industry can't be good friends? Because either they'll be linked up or be called rivals

TO SOME EXTEND YES.
Well to be fair, ppl dun enter showbiz business to make friends. But I dun think they have any huge problem as the media makes it seem. These days in every news channel we have news abt B'wood not current affairs. PPl are going crazy all over every silly thing in B'wood. I mean see how they pestered poor Bachchans during Ash abhi wedding or how they love to intesify this "cold war" between Big B and Shah Rukh and stuff. Its shamefull. Media is largely resposible

yah media does take things 2 far sometimes but other than the media the stars have a perfect life they have everything, so its not that bad if the media annoys them a little for our entertainment :)

I absoloutely agree with you, the media is toooo much! Every little thing about actors/actresses..the media has butt in! like the other day..i was reading a magazine and some actresses shoes were a bit tight for her, and it was on the front page named "CRUSHED FEET!" - and they wrote a whole two pages about that!
Okay, now how sad is that! And not just this other things too..i soo feel sorry for actors/actresses!

And i feel sorry for the media - for having such a Lame Job!

But some is just ridiculous
i dont believe in the bips and saif crap

Great post swati and i agree with the post in some extent. Aditya-Rani engagement and bips-saif having an affair rumours were just too much. Media should be in their limits. don't publish that isn't true or u aren't assure of. Not just actors life but also actors doing cameo. For example abhishek doing cameo in TRRP and srk doing cameo in Dhoom 2 and JBJ 😆 Thats really annoying. Also when media spread rumour these actors have signed the movie which in reality they haven't. I think it's time that stars file the case against the media or whoever wrote the article which aren't true. But yeah i do feel bad for bips and rani. It must be so hard for them when friends and family questions them about the rumour

Preity zinta also have to face lots of linkup with saif, abhishek and one rumour spreaded that preity got engaged/married with aamir khan during Dil chahta hai. Some times media goes crazy. In every interview they are being asked about their link up, marriage etc. which isn't fair. They should be questioned about their work and not their personal life. Now media after preity's marriage, when she isn't getting married why after it? it sound so annoying. When she said the marriage wont be taking till 5 years then the media should take a break.

Okay, what if there isn't any gossip about a celeb, if they go to KWK, what are they going to talk about, their movies and upcoming movies, boring


Gossip about a celeb is what makes them interesting.

There have been rumors about Bipasha and John's break up and many other rumors about Bipasha and Saif hooking up. Okay, I agree, couples breaking up rumors is going too far because they really can break up for sure because of the media gossip of them hooking up with someone else.

Is there a limit where the media should not cross? Yes, breaking up rumors or divorce rumors that are NOT true.

It's the same everywhere.

Sometimes gossip/rumors are started by the stars themselves to get media exposure....or it is done before the release of a film.
