Why KV(Khan Villa) lost its essence

There was a time, when we used to long to see KV and cringed when SM was shown.

Even though back then, we had an awesome cast, the best in the class - helpless husbands - Gaffur & Rashid, Dumb wife - Shireen, A classy villian - Razia, a beautiful couple - Ayra and also Nikhat.

Cut to present...

We cringe when KV is shown.

And the cast is pathetic except for Munisa and her now gone hubby.

Why KV lost its essence iMO is:

1. Unconvinced - Raha started beautifully, but Raahat falling for Haya was not convincing.

2. Unconnected - Raha story has no connection to the main story. It looks like a standalone plot added, which is neither providing any romatic or comic or drama relief. It seems like extra baggage, which is burdening.

3. Untouchable - Faiz introduced as Ayaan to bring back the Mona Raabert Nok-jhok. But Mona-Raabert was a classic. Cvs should not try to touch it. The mischievious vein was present in both their characters. Zoya was her troublesome best with both Asad and Ayaan, equally alike. Here Haya is all coy in front of Raahat and all ready for a fight with Faiz. This flip-flop in her character is irritating to the core. And none of them have comic timing.

4. UnVillianous Villian - And Munisa, shame on you. You are all talk and no action. Every episode you promise you will make life hell for haya. But nothing on that front till now.

p.s.

I would prefer to see Munsa-Faiz interactions. Elder sis, younger bro, this track has not been touched in QH till now. all the traingles can be tossed aside for now.

And how many of you feel Munisa is not wrong? I for one feel she is not wrong in hating Haya. Dillu and Haya were supposed to be guests. A guest trying to woo not one but both the brothers right under her roof, under her nose.

Not saying she was right where her husband was concerned. But otherwise, she her grudge against Haya is justified.

I agree. I watch qh on YouTube, and skip raha scenes. Especially now with this new angle faiz, haya is behaving completely out of character. But mainly, all three actors in this triangle, the acting is just not up to mark. Not convincing. Especially when there are talented actors like surbhi an d Kvb on the other side.

They are a waste of screen space. Now that Raziya is back, the cvs are going to show a lot more tannu-Raziya scenes, and to top it off this useless triangle. All eating into SaaHil screen space. When that's all most people tune in to watch, I think.

I hope cvs are smart enough not to repeat season 1's mistakes.

The reason for less Asya screentime in QH1 was something else. 😆

Raha and Faiz Acting, I agree, needs a lot of improvement.

Don't think Saahil will be sidelined though. Saahil is what anchored this sinking ship. Now that it has set sail, they should not forget the audience can drown it again.

Season 1's mistakes are being rectified, I think.

I dont have a problem with showing 2 parallel leads. Fine, but have a solid story to go alongwith it.

Arya was developed beautifully right from first episode. Except for Humeira's flipflops towards teh end, they were pretty consistent. Here I cant find a connect to Raha.

The parallel track in season 2 is very weak. The guy playing Rahat is the worst of the actors in this season. The guy playing Faiz is no good either. SC is better still & Munisa being the best of the lot.

And I agree, the parallel track is just a speed breaker. The main track & the parallel track should be intertwined together for the story to progress. Now who wants to see those insipid RaHa-faiz drama if you compare it with the intensely attractive SaHil love story? I don't like it when KV gets more screen space than SaHil. It does not make sense. The execution is very poor!

Does the CVs even know how boring the RaHa drama is? I dont think they know it otherwise they would not have given us an overdose of their scenes. The RaHa scenes are way more boring than even SM scenes were. Atleast the SM story was connected with the KV story. Here it is absolutely disconnected. 🥱

THe parallel track, the side characters are all weak.

I guess, they just rushed into QH2 without proper planning or time to shortlist new cast. So they took whatever they got. 😆 And the result is there for all to see.

SM had a good story, in fact better than KV story. In hindsight, KV didn't have any story on its own.

ZOya's story merged at SM and Asad's began with Rashiad, again at SM. And Asya and Arya parallels was beautiful.

I used to long to watch Gaffur in SM. Zoya-Gaffur meeting was what kept he hanging on to QH1. But that;s a never ending rant.

Yesterday i was very angry and still i am ,wanted KV nd tanveer razia scenes to end :(
ONLY 1 min of Sahil was too annoying ..i wanted their scene little longer :'(
I know they cant dedicate whole epi to SaHil but atlease they can give 5 mins to them ;)
For God sake they are leads and they deserve this much screen space :)
p.s. Now a days i just change channel whenever KV is shown 😔

Yesterday less screen presence to Saahil was understandable. But editing the already miniscule scene was not.

Even the leads need some time off. That's the reason there are parallel tracks in daily soaps. If it was a weekend show, then I'm sure there wouldn't have been KV even.

You are right!!

I don't feel connected with RaHa although I liked them when it started, with that beautiful BG and the unique ness of their relationship,one doesn't talk much and the other can't talk!

But they rushed it and the acting is also not convincing specially Rahat's acting.

So when Faiz introduced I was not worried at all like I used to be worried about AyRa separation.

AyRa was beautiful!!

And they shouldn't have touched that epic bromance!! no one can take place of Asad and Ayan . like no one can touch that epic Mona Rabbart equation.
