Of namesakes: Monalika Bhonsle

Monalika Bhonsle, who is currently seen as Zenab in Saathi Re (Star One) shares her name with a vamp played by Manasi Verma in Kahaani Ghar Ghar Ki. And people actually think she's the same person.

"As soon as anyone hears my name, they ask me if I was in Kahaani! With the passage of time, I hope people will start recognising my name. I don't know Manasi Verma and have never met her.

People also ask me if I'm related to Asha Bhonsle, but only share a common surname," laughs Monalika, who was previously seen playing negative roles in Kesar, Kahiin Kissi Roz, Kabhi Souten Kabhi Saheli and Kuttumb.
