Making a post after a long time here as I wanted to wait and watch how the new Rangrasiya shapes up post Paro's death and Myrah's entry 🤔
After watching it for one week , I get a feeling this new Rangrasiya might hv more connect with the viewers than old Rangrasiya .. I mean Myrah-Rudra-Dhruv might hv more emotional connect with viewers than PaRud and I m talking of Trp viewers here and not us 😳
For me PaRud will always remain special and nothing can replace it but somehow from a story POV when I watch new Rangrasiya , I find it more gripping in terms of emotional connect mayb because a kid is involved here and as a viewer I want to see if the kid eventually succeeds in getting a mother for himself and also getting a lifepartner for his father 🤔 .. I get a kuch kuch hota hai movie kind of deja vu feel when I watch Mayrah-Rudra-Dhruv story and thats where I feel trp audience could well connect with this Rangrasiya more than older version .. but I mayb wrong too .. will hv to wait and watch 😳
There r 10 valid reasons why I feel Myrah-Rudra-Dhruv story has more emotional connect with viewers than PaRud ... Here r those reasons 🤔
1) I feel in this new story , emotional connect is more than violence whereas PaRud story had more violence than emotional connect .. Trp viewers love emotions than violence .. When Paro dies or when Rudra emotionally breaks down in rain after seeing Paro's lookalike and questioning to God why this always happens with him only 😭 or when Dhruv keeps looking at Myrah today , thinking its his mother and today even making an attempt to show his mother's picture to Myrah but not able to do so or when as a viewer I see how desperately Dhruv wants his mother in Myrah that he does not even bother to see how he is totally messed up in mudwater 😭 , I could feel and connect to those emotions of a son longing for his mother or a husband longing for his dead wife or a innocent girl who is caught up suddenly between a stranger and a little kid compare to old Rangrasiya where after the initial few weeks of Tejawat , I could not feel that strong emotional connect as there was too of violence and blood bath ... This is where I believe Trp viewers might connect to this new Rangrasiya more 🤔...
2) Kids always hv an emotional connect with viewers and here Dhruv's role is nicely shaped up I feel and in future too a kid playing cupid between his father and his mother's lookalike will anyday make a better watch than random vamps and villains playing reverse cupids 🤔 ; Also Sumer-Shatabdi's little kid is equally cute and I m already loving the brother-sister bond there 😳
3) Mills and Boons romance between angry young man playing a knight in shining armour and a poor damsel in distress which we saw in PaRud story hv actually become a bit cliched as we see it in almost all love stories today but in new Rangrasiya neither Myrah is any damsel in distress nor Rudra is anymore that old angry young man in BSD ; Myrah is a strong independent rich girl but not a spoilt brat while Rudra is a emotional distressed father who lost his wife and has gone into a shell but has become a lot more subdued and matured than the old Rudra we know and this is what makes the new Rangrasiya different as it wont b a typical mills and boons pull-push-eyelock romance but more of a matured romance where a kid will b involved too and here I feel Myrah will first connect with Dhruv and then Rudra 👍🏼...
4) Mohini is a lot more toned down I feel and somewhere Shatabdi-Mohini's nok-jhoks over their Achaar business 😆 is quite a comic relief in the show which is much needed as I always felt old Rangrasiya lacked humour and light moments and was too serious 🤔 ... Mohini's semi-comic avataar is quite enjoyable to watch and I sort of look forward to Shatabdi-Mohini one upmanship scenes in the episodes these days with Sumer being sandwiched between mother and wife 😆😆
5) Maithili and Rudra have developed a nice Devar-Bhabhi bond all thanks to Dhruv connect and this is a nice addition to this new Rangrasiya 👏👏 ... Earlier we hardly used to see Rudra's interaction or emotional one-to-one talks with any of the family members except for his father but now its a refreshing change to see Rudra opening up to Maithili and also he has grown so matured when it comes to accepting harsh realities of life 👍🏼
6) There is quite a mystry surrounding Myrah too .. Till now we only saw her Chacha in person .. Rest she keeps talking to her father and other relatives and to her fiance too but we hv not seen anyone yet .. So who is Myrah factor will attract Trp viewers too as many might still feel what if she is Paro or some long lost sister of Paro or some other mystry involved 🤔 ; It could b just a lookalike only in the end but at times curiosity factor always works for the show and I will love to see makers keeping Myrah's family identity hidden for sometime and let we all keep speculating about it for sometime 😛😉
7) Today's viewers love strong women and somewhere I feel Myrah is not only bold and bindaas but she is quite strong and independent too ... Her character is also not those rich bimbo types as we saw her blasting off the car driver when he was misbehaving with the little kid today .. So she is quite a matured lady too who knows exactly when to get serious and when to b funny ... She has got a mind of her own 👍🏼
8) Rudra is not the crybaby anymore we saw in earlier Rangrasiya ,, Yes he still has his emotional outburst like the rain sequence other day after his meeting with Myrah which is a natural human reaction too but he nomore goes around drinking or cursing his fate at the drop of a hat like he used to do before because over the years he has grown matured and now because he is a father of a 7 yr old kid , so he knows how to keep his self-control and mental balance intact 👍🏼 ..
9) There is a good mixture of emotions , humour , light moments , freshness and family bonding compare to the old Rangrasiya which was a bit one dimentional with just violence reloaded .. Here if Shatabdi-Mohini r providing the comic relief , then kids along with Maithili r providing the family bonding while Rudra as a single father is bringing out the emotional balance in the story and Myrah as the free spiritied NRI girl is bringing in the freshness to the story 👍🏼 .. There r lots of dimentions to this new version of RR compare to the old one I feel 🤔
10) Last but not the least Show is given a balance of both Urban and Rural feel now to attract both set of viewers which can work in favour too .. Myrah's character is given a urban feel and will attract the urban audience while Rudra and his family still hv that rural feel ... So mayb the show will get a wider reach and both set of viewers will start connecting to the show 🤔
I mayb wrong with my above assumptions , but now that CVs hv started it all over fresh and trying their best to win the heart of viewers with a positive approach , I m giving them a chance because I love both Ashish and Sanaya and just cant ignore the hard work and efforts that they r putting into their characters 👏👏👏 ... Also its not like Rudra overnight forgot Paro and is falling for Myrah .. Rudra still continues to live for Paro only and might never love Myrah too until and unless PaRud's kid Dhruv forces his father to marry Myrah for him and eventually Rudra might fall for Myrah who will b a mother to his kid .. So I think the whole journey from that angle will b exciting as a small innocent Kid becomes the bridge of the love story here which is fascinating to watch 👍🏼
Only Bit which dint go down well with me was Rudra leaving BSD and becomning a Security Officer but I guess thats needed for Rudra-Myrah's story to progress .. so will wait and watch on it .. Rest I feel CVs so far r doing a good job with the storyline 👍🏼
