Has Jacqueline Stolen Alia Bhatt's Thunder?

I know everyone is considering her as the next Katrina, and we already have one Jacqui=Katrina topic. I'm talking about this year. Alia was getting so much attention for her performance and hit movies till Kick happened. Jacqui started signing big movies (I'm sure she'd sign some big endorsement deals within a month). Everyone seems happy for Jacqui.

Just a month back we were thinking -- 2014 is Alia's. However, she doesn't have any release in next 6/7 months, not dating any BW star to stay relevant. On the other hand, Jacqui has Salman (Saline/SalJac), a 200 crore movie, (bang-banging) shooting stories with Rabir. Media's attention is moving toward her.

So, do you think Jaqueline has stolen Alia's thunder this year?

I repeat, I'm only talking about this year (Or next few months), not their entire career and who is gonna be the next XYZ.

Jackie was very BORING in Kick. Not sure how she's stealing anyone's thunder. She's nothing more than a pretty face with great hair.

Not sure why but i feel Anushka is gonna steal both their thunders if BV & PK do well ( NH10 too) and her performance gets appreciated..All her plastic surgeries will be forgotten in no time cos nothing succeeds like success 😆

Before Highway released, Pari was the flavour of the season with everyone praising her to the skies for HTP and comparing her to Vidya.

Then Alia came and till July she was the flavour of the season with 3 good films.

Now it's Jackie's turn to shine and suddenly it seems she is the next big thing.

Truth is no one has taken away anyone's thunder as yet. Everyone is shining at the time of the film's release and subsequent achievements. Uske baad spotlight is turning to someone else.

The end of the year review will probably tell us best who shone the most and who stole whose thunder.

No. They are both very different. If anyone JFK has stolen DP's and Katty's thunder.

They appeal to different crowds.

Jackie is sexy Alia is well..not. Alia can act, Jackie cannot. So I don't think they are even competing for the same films or attention.

She has certainly caught the eye. But does she has an independent fan following . Can she bring the audience to watch her movies? I doubt for now. She is in the process of building the fanbase and I think it would be 2015 which might turn out to be a special year.
