@Jayne... 100% agree with the your comment. Drashti became a known name in every household only after Geet. She was good as Muskaan but was lost in the crowd of so many good looking actors in Dil Mill Gaye and Multiple Love stories all running parallel to Armaan and Riddhima's Love Story. Only Geet gave her the due importance which she was yearning for. And till date Drashti considers Geet as her favourite character. Likewise Barun Sobti though had done a couple of serials but was never considered HOT. He always portrayed a cute, lovable boy next door image in every serial prior to IPKKND. Only with the role of Arnav he was added to the list of Hot Hunks. As he got major make over with his Rich Tycoon Look only wearing Black Blazers with Breasted Jackets and gel sodden hair. That look of him was to die for. Sanaya till date vouches for Khushi and refers it to as the most endearing character and very close to her heart. Like wise the role of Aahil broke the myth that KVB is only good for Negative and Grey Character. Aahil showed audience that even a Bad Boy can turn positive after falling in love. Aahil made audience fall in love with a Brat who turned Love Struck Junooni Lover unable to confess his feelings b'cos of MU creating by his step mom. Aahil made us sympathize with him and love him for his dilemma.

QH, my first and only indian serial that I follow daily and it was bcoz of SJ. I don't understand hindi, but the broadcasting have English subs. When Asad1 left, I never quit watching, afterall it's about the story and the characters (Zoyaan track was very bad). The first time I heard and saw pics of KVB, I thought to myself, hmm not so handsome. Still, didn't quit the show and Aahil's character and the story was growing on me. And now, I'm so so in love with Sahil/SurVir. A day without them is so boring. Oh yeah, KVB is HOT and SEXY and SJ is mindblowing.
