I used to be an active member here at the forum but no longer post. I just wanted to drop in and put down my thoughts. No - not here to be a moany cow! Just wanted to say:
I've stopped watching RR. Actually I stopped watching it a while back. But after hearing about the end of Paro, with great difficulty I decided to watch Friday's episode and I must admit, I felt very sad. When Rudra finally came face to face with Myrah, all my focus was actually on PaRud, and the flashbacks of some of their special moments...moments that are truly unforgettable and ones to cherish. Yes, it broke my heart seeing Paro through the flashbacks. Of course Sanaya looks adorable in her new look and she's doing a convincing job as a character with a personality completely different to Paro. But am I convinced about Rudra and Myrah? I dunno. Paro and Rudra believed that they were soul mates. We too believed it. Now it's nothing but a beautiful lie.
I will miss Paro. Even when Rudra falls in love with Myrah (which obviously is inevitable) and even when this show comes to an end (which will happen at some point in time) I will still think of Paro. I know she is a work of fiction. But an emotional attachment was formed with her. She was kind, soft hearted, just and fair. She smiled and we would smile with her. She cried and we felt her pain. She was truly unique. There are a number of characters on our tv screens that we see on a daily basis. But not all of them make a home in our hearts. Parvati, however has become one of those rare characters that shall live on in the hearts of the viewers. And Sanaya Irani has immortalized her.
Paro: Tumhe hum yaad kyun kare? Yaad karne ke liye pehle bhoolna padta hai. Aur tumhe bhool jaye, yeh mumkin nahin.
