Akshay Kumar in TIME magazine's '50 Smartest Celebrities On Twitter'

Akshay Kumar has been named among TIME magazine's 50 smartest celebrities on Twitter.

The actor comes in at number 25 on the list, and is the only Hindi cinema actor to feature in the top 50.

The magazine ranked Twitter users on the basis of "the number of three-syllable words used in a text to calculate the years of education required to understand it".

AR Rahman, Oprah Winfrey, Lord Sugar, Ricky Martin and Willow Smith join Kumar in the list, which is topped by actor Leonardo DiCaprio.

"An environmental activist, DiCaprio often tweets about 'conservation' and 'global warming', which may have helped him earn the top spot," stated TIME.
