Abhi and Simran are touched at Sid's action and how he wants to help out. They tell Urmila that they appreciate what he has done and he should get what he deserves in Sia. Abhi is going to be awarded for his book and there is a press conference for the same at home. When asked about his second daughter he doesn't answer. Everyone decides to celebrate Abhi's award, but Sia has decided to go with Sid for dinner and so Simran and ABhi go alone for dinner, whereas Sia goes with Sid. Abhi receives an SMS from Aastha for the award. Sia and Sid are dining together when Aastha and Kiran go to the same restaurant. Sid asks Sia why she has all of a sudden reciprocated his love and she says she wanted to be out of her sister's way earlier. Sid tells her that he always loved her and will continue to do so. Aastha overhears this and confronts him and asks him why he had proposed to her then? Was it false? Did he want to fool both of them? Angrily, Sid slaps her and all are stunned.

Kiran forcibly takes Aastha away from the restaurant to avoid unpleasantness. Sia and Sid go home to Abhi and Ismran and tell them about the incident. Both console Sia and tell her not to worry about Aastha. Sia confesses her love for Sid. Anil comes to Kiran and asks her to vacate the house but she doesn't relent saying he has been very irregular in paying her. He reluctantly agrees to pay his son, Yash. Kiran calls Yash who is abroad in a pub and tells him that his father would send him money but he should start looking for a job, but Yash refuses to do so. Kiran then receives a call from a person who has brought her a lot of gifts and wants to see her. Kiran asks Aastha to attend a late night party, so that she can spend time with the caller. After Aastha leaves, a lewd man comes over. Aastha is upset about the party she has attended since the people were very cheap. On the way back she sees Sia and sid. When she comes back home, she sees Kiran in bed with the man, accepting money from him and is shocked.

Kiran is upset since Aastha has seen her with the man. She tries to cover up by saying that she was forced to get into this since she was deserted by Abhi when he went back to Simran. Simran and Abhi leave for their tour overseas for the award function. She sends Aastha an SMS but Aastha doesn't respond. Yash calls Kiran to ask her for the money but she says it will take a while. Saurabh and Abhi's parents are coming back home when Saurabh sees a hoarding with Aastha's picture. He is aghast and goes home storming. He asks for Aastha but Sia says she is not at home and goes out. Saurabh calls up Aastha but Kiran answers and tells him that Aastha has left her step-mother's house. Saurabh is very upset and calls back. This time, Aastha answers and Saurabh tries to convince her but to no avail. This shocks Saurabh and he holds his chest and collapses with pain. Shaguna sees him in shock.
