Mouni Roy:

I have just returned from Durga pooja festival in Kolkata. Festivals are for fun and it's always great to celebrate Diwali with your family and friends. But I am going to miss it all this year because I can't go back home again for Diwali. I will be working and celebrate Diwali on the sets with my friends Reshmi, Pulkit and Gunjan.

Pulkit Samrat:

I am just waiting for Diwali because I am going to go back to Delhi to celebrate the festival with my family. Without bursting crackers there is no fun in Diwali. We decorate our house with rangoli, toran and diyas. It gives a different colour and feel and the house looks so different on those three days of festival. I am bad at playing cards but I am going to try it out. I just want to enjoy and be part of all the fun.

Shilpa Saklani:

I will be in Mumbai this Diwali. I come from Uttar Pradesh and for us it all starts with chhoti Diwali, which is the day before Deepawali. I am going to light up my house with diyas and colourful lights. On the day of the Laxmi pooja we are going to have a havan. I have never played cards but this Diwali I am going to play cards with my husband and a few close friends. I eat lot of sweets so I am going to hog on mithais. For shagun I will burst crackers. I am quite okay with the noise because it's just once in a year that people burst crackers. As for clothes I prefer sarees and salwar-kameez.

Rakshanda Khan:

I do celebrate Diwali but this year it won't be in a major way because of Ramadan. But I will definitely make rangoli outside my house. Besides there will Diwali lamps in my house. I am not high on bursting crackers but have fancy for sweets. During Diwali what I like most is collecting gifts (laughs). I am not into playing cards or card parties. I had attended a card party once and I got bored. I can't even play teen patta. I am a dud when it comes to gambling.

Reshmi Ghosh:

I have not planned anything for Diwali because after nearly three years of little work I am working in a daily soap and really enjoying it. So the best thing I can do this Diwali is shoot for Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi as it is my first serial and is giving me exposure on TV. I think I will celebrate Diwali with people on the sets of my show. But I will definitely go for Kali pooja. This is my first Diwali when I am away from my family in Kolkata. I used to have lot of fun there and I am going to miss all of that

love,aliya😳

Why can't Rakshanda celebrate Diwali? I celebrate every thing, and festive occassion to celebrate.
Also Rakshu doesn't have to worry about Ramadhan, that starts mid-sept and ends mid-oct, then she can celebrate Diwali.

Thanks, love Rakshu's and Reshmi's straight-forward answers. Shilpa seems to be making the most of the festival with lots of fun things planned. Mouni going to miss her family but then she's got her Kyunki parivaar na.
