I thought about it for a long time but this is how I now view the current track. Jodha-Jalal are beginning to already behave like couples that have been married and in love for years ... they are cute , lovey-dovey, but the passion and possessiveness has gone missing ... almost like they are already at a mid-life crisis. So, what does this track do? Bring in a bit of chatpata and mirch malasa to spice up life a bit and hopefully, the love story of Jodha and Jalal.
I know there are two things bothering folks so let's address those elephants in the room:
But, Jodha is pregnant: Yes, Jodha is pregnant, but we cannot expect the CVs to show Jalal caring for Jodha all the time. That is not a source of drama. But, then what about the attention around Ruq's fake pregnancy? Well, first, Ruq's demands attention that Jodha does not. And, Ruq's antics creates drama and CVs love drama.
And, that is why I think Moti foreshadowed today that pregnancy could come in between a husband and wife ... and with Atifa's entry, Jodha will definitely not let that happen.
And, I do not want or expect Jodha to be sad or learn any lesson from this experience ... I want her to show her possessive side, with full rights now unlike the Ben track, and fight chatpata with chatpata by showing concern and sympathy for her own aashiq in waiting, Khaiber. I want the Ameri, teeki mirchi back. This track should not be about making Jodha weak, it should make Jodha stronger in trusting her love and fighting for it.
But, does Jalal love Jodha: Yes, he does. And for now, I have no reason to believe otherwise. This is Jalal- who has never been thrown off guard by a woman, except for Jodha. Suddenly, this woman arrives out of no-where and in his hamaam ... he comes close to her thinking she is Jodha and is startled. He is surprised to be startled. He is still not sure what he is attracted to about her or why she is staying in his memory ... but that is not love. Not yet. It is like a painter enamored by his muse.
And I would wait to see why he held Atifa's hand ... First, we know the CVs always use precap tricks and second, there is always tomorrow to vent right?
And yes, I do sense trouble from Atifa a la Ben as a dangerous weapon. Three common themes: (1) From Kabul, (2) A mysterious woman, and (3) Always landing in the hamaam. And of course, Jalal forgot to do a security check ... but they would have been prepared for that anyways. 😆
One koshtin: If the hamaam is shared, how come Ben didn't poison it? How did they clean it? I always was curious about that. 😆
In the end of the day, I don't think Jalal will have any feelings for Atifa. I think Ruq's will try to use Atifa but you and I know that Ruq's is always a reverse cupid.
So, please let us take it a day at a time, and keep calm kanna and enjoy today's episode with today's take:Today, I saw three main themes ...
Jalal's concern for Jodha in two ways ...
1.Anger wala love ... Loved his angry outburst of how Jodha does not take care of herself... not because he was shouting at Jodha but showing his concern to her. 😳
If you had any doubts, Moti served as a translator that his anger was purely his love! 😉
And Jalal finally realized, Jodha never listens to him! 😆
2. Regret wala love: I liked to see how he reflects and feels bad about shouting at Jodha ... and it showed how Jodha was always on his thoughts. He wanted to immediately appease Jodha and lands in the hamaam and liked his sense of urgency. 😉
It was great to see his naughty thoughts in the hamaam ... but he doesn't know that Jodha sits in the hamaam with all her clothes on 😆
Adia, your wish is true, Jalal in the bath tub! 😆
Jodha's expectations from Jalal
3. As a wife, Jodha has evolved so much. This is not the first time Jalal has shouted at her ... but she is more hurt than ever. She expects him to shower her with love as she is pregnant and cannot see anyone come in between. I want her to exert these rights and demand attention from Jalal ... and Atifa might be the perfect trigger.
Or else, she would never assert these rights.
New found maturity in the Jodha-Jalal relationship ... what would typically cause misunderstandings were easily resolved ...
4.In the hamaam kaana Jodha sees Jalal in hamam with Atifa ... Before, she would have huffed and puffed out and not listened to Jalal's justification. Today, she was initially hurt, but Jalal immediately told her what happened and they immediately patched up with a hug. Earlier, that would have dragged for 4 weeks.
5. Both Jodha and Jalal apologizing and resolving their regrets on the same day ... instead of sitting for weeks and being hesitant to talk about it
I liked how both of them apologized.
I observed- Jodha had a very funny nod when Jalal said "I shouldn't have shouted at you" as if like, "Finally! When will you learn your lesson!" 😆
And these themes are why I have not lost hope on this love story ... because they showed so much maturity today.
So, for now enjoy the masala and know that Jodha-Jalal lived in love for their whole life and Jodha wished to be buried close to Jalal in death ... he could not have been that bad. So this is not the end of their love story, it is just adding spice to their love story.
So, thoughts on the episode and my take?
