Not to be mean, but this post doesn't make much sense. The actress you mention are fair compared to kalpi. The only show that fits the point you trying to make is Saat phere of which kalpi was part of.

Skintone has been brought up on this form before as well, now I don't know if you are indian or a NRI, but skintone should have nothing to do with plot unless it's the main plot like Saat phere.

EMA plot was not centralized around the fact that the character kalpi should be dark skinned. The actress they picked just happened to be.
