So...I couldn't resist this one. As Atominis has already come up with 'Suggest film titles', I'd love the members to come up with names of fictional characters of the books whom you think suit the EHT characters best!! 😃

Here are my suggestions (just so you'd know, my horizon of book-reading is tooo limited, so bear with that).

Sakshi Goenka- Bellatrix Lestrange (Harry Potter), Aro (Twilight), Sherlock Holmes.

Rajnath Goenka- Lucius Malfoy (Harry Potter).

Shaurya Goena- Draco Malfoy (Harry Potter) 🤣

Dev Goenka- Anastasia Steele (50 shades of Grey) 🤢

Durga Thakur- Katherine Kavanagh (50 shades of Grey), Irene Adler (Sherlock Holmes).

Dr Dayal Thakur- Dr Carlisle Cullen (Twilight) 😆

Suchitra Goenka- Esme (Twilight) 🥱

I say Durga is more like Katniss Everdeen.(The Hunger Games)- she often fails to make the distinction between right and wrong, but she is a warrior who champions her sister with her life.Her character is also like Rose Hathaway(Vampire Academy)for the same reasons.

Dev is Edward Ferrars(Sense and Sensibility)- good at heart but naive and lets others makes his decisions.

Sakshi is like Narcissa Malfoy (Harry Potter) - She knows what they are doing is wrong but cannot guide her son. Spoils him rotten.

Dayal Thakur is like Mr.Woodhouse(Emma) since he pretty much gives both his daughters-both Durgas- a khuli choot 😆

Rajnath Goenka- Definitely a Lucius Malfoy (Harry Potter)- power crazy, arrogant and ambitious.

Shaurya Goenka- George Wickham(Pride and Prejudice)- for so many reasons but the main being utter disregard and disrespect to women.

Now that you've made Shourya = Draco Malfoy, I'd suggest Durga = Harmonie Granger. That punch!😆

Ddurga/nitya, dev and Payal remind me of Meg, Jo and Laurie from little women.super rich guy and comparitively poor girls.

I haven't read 'Hunger Games' or 'Sense & Sensibility' 😔 . Like I've mentioned, my reading is too limited!

To be honest, I can't relate Narcissa Malfoy with Sakshi's character apart from the love of her son. Narcissa wasn't a killer. What u said is right but Narcissa did love her son and the fact that her husband would always be the one calling the shots made her keep her mouth shut, whereas its the other way round for Sakshi and I really doubt if Sakshi ACTUALLY loves her son. Coz if she did, she wouldn't spoil him to this extent, turn a blind eye to everything he used to do 😡 .

I'd defo make a poind to read 'Pride and Prejudice' again though 😉 😆

LOL...But Durga haven't punched Shaurya...yet (in the literal sense, I mean) 😉

And truth be told, Hermione and Durga are poles apart. The know-it-all vs the complex yet clumsy character 😆

Ok here goes my character analysis. They have a shade from characters of MB

Rajnath - Dhrithrastra. Rules the kingdom, but blind to one's son's fault. Uses his clout to shut up people who goes against him or his son

Sakshi- Gandhari cum Shakuni rolled into one. She loves her son blindly and it is her cunningness that saves him from each and every misdeed

Suchitra- Kunti well just goes about doing her work, only concerned about her son

Dev- What should I call him Arjun or Yudhi. Can be a mix of both. Has talent, ability, values but so passive , can be easily fooled, and his sanskaars and dharm is misplaced.

Shaurya- Duryodhan the spoilt child. Hungry of power, need to get what he wants and is willing to do anything for what he wants.

Karan- Jayadradh as he is running an affair with Shaurya's sis and partner in crime. So dependant on Shaurya

Rishi- Karan in MB. Always tells don't do do, but then forced to go with Shaurya and co

Durga- Panchali the fire that is gonna engulf the Goenka family. Just like Panchali seeking justice ended up in war, Durga's seeking justice is going to sound the death knell for Goenka family

Dr Dayal- Krishna, neutral yet by the side of right. Calm and poised.
