@shelly8 that is what I mean. Sakshi is a mixture of a lot of characters but she resembles Narcissa the most. And yeah she gets manipulated so easily by her son. sometimes even her husband.

@ atominis: I take your point. Dev cannot be Vidur because he is not a dasi putra. SUchitra Goenka's status is still unknown😆 She is one interesting character. Her son gets shot, she bows down to Maa Durga, the very next day she brings the some prasad for her son who is supposedly in ICU and the day when her son is being released from hospital ,she is at home waiting for him😆😆

Dev is like Yudisthir, yes not Arjun. Arjun was very proud of himself. Dev is not

I am more doubtful of Sakshi's pedigree than Suchitra. 😉 I suspect she used to play piano at a club. She hooked up with Raj there and helped him cover up his brother's murder. 😆

Quite possible there are instances in history. One like Noorjahan or Cleopatra 😆

I compared Dev to Arjun because if we look Arjun was capable, he kept on talking about justice, justice to panchali and when he was asked to take arms for that justice seeing his near and dear ones on other side he kept his bow down and said no I don't want war. It required a Krishna and BG to make him take the bow once again. Only in kurusketra he realized whom he is gonna fight, he knew it right when the war prep was going on. Also Arjuna was the one who let go of Jayadradtha when both Yudhi and Bhim wanted to kill him for abducting Panchali. Something for which he paid the price by the death of Abhi

Dev also talks justice, finding truth and when the truth stares at him can he take the sides and fight.

Just like Arjuna after Abhi's death took the war personal most probably for Dev to take the justice personal he will have to know the secret behind his dad's death. Till then he will fight half heartedly only.

Haaiilaaa...too many opinions the MB characters 😕

So glad I didn't think of them, there are too many shades in them, a complexity within itself!

EHT characters are hardly THAT complex. Some of their traits may match the MB chars, but that's it. They're a LOT more interesting 😃

This was the VERY thing I was thinking while writing the post, that is the reason I compared him to Anastasia Steele (50 shades of Grey).

You see the similarities, both lack a personality, judgmental skills, are easily controlled by/influenced by someone (be it best friend or lover), is obsessed by someone and don't see right when it concerns them...the list is endless 😆

Given what a ruthless, threatening, gundi type Sakshi is, I always felt she was a shady woman. Plus her character sketch on SP site mentions her deprived childhood that made her what she is. A woman who has pedigree and was from a rich and good family herself, couldn't have had a deprived childhood or criminal mind.

Seeing her flashy dresses and pride at being a Goenka, flaunting wealth and status and then playing that piano made me feel she was a femme fatale employed at a club.😉

She hates being called Sakshi. Whether it was Mathur or Shekhar, she always pointed them to call her Mrs Goenka. The way she clings to this tag it seems she has never seen a status wala tag earlier.
