Yamini's character continues to be completely one dimensional.

Misplaced sense of self entitlement and complete lack of understanding of Nikumbh's anguish.

Every one in the play's cast..and that includes Shaheen.. can empathize with Nikumbh..

Every expression and words of Nikumbh... show his feelings and emotions..

(side note- Abhishek = ⭐️👏👍🏼)

How come Yamini is so self involved and self centered that she insists on making him see her point . Actions speak louder than words. She can cry a river..but she needs to look in mirror and face the fact .she betrayed the trust of a friend.. ..

What is she apologizing for ? Why is she sorry if she feels that what she did is right ?

What exactly is left to say or add ?

How is she expecting to explain..that after giving her word ..she went and did exact opposite.

Ending of the play is not the issue.. She needs to get ...that ..breaking of trust is what's hurting the most.

Not sure if the actress needs to improve her acting ..or Yamini is expected to be this thick-headed and unaware..Her half smiles and awkward nods during the episode were jarring as I feel she needs to improve a lot to keep up with Abhishek, and rest of brilliant cast.

She is improving with every episode but still a long way to go

Not feeling Yamini's side at all..

Precap ...makes it even more ridiculous to see Yamini continues playing victim card.. given she is the one who committed the crime of manipulating a creator's version to suit her ideology.

Distorting someone's creation is a crime indeed ..

Press conference was a complete joke.

Raghu..is diabolical and manipulative but Yamini is the one that caused Nikumbh's pain.

Hopefully writers will be able to show some perspective that will make me empathize with Yamini..and hopefully it will be believable and actress will be able to do justice.

Nikumbh and Azaam.. brilliant as always. Raghu, principal and rest of cast and extras.. all delivering perfectly.

Many a times I thought.. if I was Nikumbh's friend ..what would I have said or done to make the pain any less... and couldn't think of anything. Azam- I can feel your helpless ness.

Divs ...the way i keep thinking of yamini's perspective and write about her i am probably team yams😆

Ok, let me start my yam katha

1. She feels she has done the right thing about the ending of the play, however she didnt anticipate this Magnitude of fury of Nikumbh. She now realises, that the hurt of Nikumbh is far far greater and stems from his past. She however has no idea how to deal with this third eye destruction mode of nikumbh.

2. She is Not apologising for the play as she said to azam and others. Since she is aware of the hurt and the possible loss of friendship...she is scrambling to give/ repeat her perspective and apologise for Betraying his trust.

3. When one hurts someone they love, its impossible to say...there is nothing more to add and leave the other to reconcile. We desperately seek to give more of the same justification and maybe apologise for the hurt caused by the action. The very action, you may not be sorry for, 😉

4. Like i am going to repeat again...she does see the issue now, but has no way to reconcile given raghu is already in the picture. Also, did you notice Nikumbh...he is so aag baboola that it would take multiple fire engines to calm him down. He is so angry that he is refusing HIS career prospects because he is angry ...he is as immature as her in some ways* runs to hide*

I can really see yams point of view, agree she messed up big BUT her intentions were really clean n noble.

Both of them are right yet wrong in their stands. Yamini is definetly more at a disadvantage because she had floated the idea twice regarding the ending only to have it rejected by Nikumbh .. so she knew how staunch he was in his vision of the ending.

I posted this on another thread, it would be a letdown seeing a reconciliation without both of them meeting half way - Yamini realizing how wrong she was by messing with his vision of the play and Nikumbh realizing it was never done with malicious intent.

Meeting half way is far far away and i am NOT complaining 😛... But raghu milking the situation is going to make it go from an issue to a MU

Good post. You have highlighted all things which are of important. I didn't like either Yamini breaking the trust of Nikumbh. He said many times, yet she did not understand. And did what she feels like doing. I m on to Nikumbh side.

Howie.. interesting points..and trust me..I really want to empathize with both leads but with recent episodes ..I am at complete loss when it comes to understanding Yamini ...😕

side note - I also think the actress needs lot of improvement to keep up with rest. She is getting better but long way to go before she matches the rest of key performers. This also may be responsible for the disconnect I feel with Yamini.

Coming back to Yamini..

She doesn't just get the wrongness of distorting a creation.. She is in this la-la land where ending in applause is the goal. She is not really an artist but a marketing product.

Art is a reward in itself. Yes..for sure..Nikumbh said ..artist always has the "chaah" of audience.. waah and aahs.. but notice he also said "aah" not just waah.. Critics are welcome.

He would have handled harsh criticism of his play's ending much better than the alternative ending to his vision by another.

Also... she did break the trust and she continues making it all about herself.. She needs to look in the mirror and admit that what she did is wrong and only then the mending of relationship will happen.

I would have more respect for Yamini if she said..ok I made a huge mistake. but she has no regrets.. even in her dream sequence..her sense of entitlement prevailed. She wants Nikumbh to come groveling and apologize to her ...

Uff !!!... ..Being an artist . I connect with his pain ..being an emotional person..I connect with his sense of shock at betrayal

If someone did this to my creation and betrayed despite agreeing otherwise..I would be much more upset ..

Nikumbh is still very civil...
