e.g. Kajol, she's dusky but hella beautiful. i dont know why indians and pakistanis are so against girls with a dark complexion. i find dusky girls much prettier than the white ones. but making suhani orange gives no sense at all lol

It's because the foundation they use on her probably oxidized. This happens depending on heat and how oily one's skin is. The foundation turns darker and orange. Since her skin is darker it probably turns more orange. It also depends on the quality of the make up and how well it suits her skin. Hopefully they get their stuff together later on in the serial.
