Two days back (June 18), the Kasamh Se team came back from Turkey after enjoying a week of holidays apart from shooting for the serial. We spoke to some of the cast to find out about their experiences.
Naman Shaw (Pushkar) says, "It was a very nice trip. We stayed there for eight days. I enjoyed the weather very much and we shopped like mad. In the night, we used to have a party. The whole unit was in a good mood. Even though it was a hectic schedule, we had great fun."
"I did not have much to shoot over there. Therefore, it was like a paid trip for me. I could not enjoy water sports as there were no beaches. Most of them were near the ports. I have bought many evil eyes from there, even though I do not believe in such stuff. There are lots of places to visit like palaces and lanes."
Naman continues, "In the night, it looks really different. I love the Bosphorus Bridge, the light arrangement is wonderful. I spent a decent amount of money. Every moment was memorable for me. There were not many Indians but few people who were tourists did recognize me."
Meanwhile, Arunima Sharama, (Rano) adds, "It was a really good trip for us. We were working and in between we went shopping with Nevidita. I bought lots of clothes as electronic goods were very expensive."
How was your schedule?
"We normally used to get up at 9 AM and then after breakfast we used to shoot till the night. In between, we used to get some free time and that's when we generally went out shopping."
"For a week we stayed in a hotel called Green Park. I heard that Turkey Embassy invited Balaji for shooting, so they took care of our staying expenses but I am not sure about it. I shopped within my budget. The whole team used to have either lunch or dinner together. One day we all - Ram, Ronit, Roshni, Siddharth – went shopping and had a great time."
Any weird experiences?
"Well, we had to talk to the local people in sign language since they couldn't understand English. But I guess it helped us to improve our acting skills."
This Turkey track is currently on air in Kasamh Se.
