Ajith-Vijay-Surya are the three stars of Kollywood ...

Surya might have done quite a films less that Vijay-Ajith but still is in the race ...

According to you who has the better filmography over all ?

I think Vijay-Ajith have a better filmography.

I know Surya's in the race, but he's still way behind the other two.

Both Vijay and Ajith started out with light-hearted, romantic roles ... and then slowly made the transition to mass, commercial heroes. To me, these two have tried and tested almost every genre and tasted huge success in it.

Surya started doing off-beat roles which got him his popularity. And then the romantic roles made him a hit. Now it looks like he's making the transition as well, but it'll take a few more years to see how it'll work out for him.

Maybe had Surya also started around the same time as the others, then his filmography would've been comparable. So it's just the years of experience that makes him lag behind. Because if you think about it, Vijay and Ajith were stars by the time Surya started out.

I find Surya's filmography better. He has done different roles and he keeps experimenting new things . Ajtih - vijay are doing only commercial movies now- a-days . Surya may also do that after a few years .

Suriya is versatile than Ajith and Vijay. He is more consistent and has given enviable performances compared to them. Films like Peraghazan, Pithamagan, Nanda, Ayutha Ezhuthu, Ghajini, 7aum arivu and even Kaakha Kaakha to an extent. Being successful in both offbeat and commercial films is something only a few can boast of.
