"Tum Ko dhek Kar ankein, muskurane lagthai hain..
Tum Ko mil Kar dhadkane, gungunane lagthai hain
Aysa hotha hain kyon...mujko khabar Nahin
Pehele Khabhi huwa, Aysa Azar Nahin

Jo Mere Dil Ke pass hain...nayi Jadoo Nayi ehesaas hain
Isko main Kya kahun...tu hi batha...to hi batha...

Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon?
Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon?

Can't express it better than these words have! I love your posts that allude back to the IPK story. The SAHIL story has a similar charm and a similar vein to it! You can't deny it. But so far, the way they have presented this story is drawing me in. It stands on its own.

I didn't even realise that I knew all the words to this song till I started to write it! Sanam...you feel for this guy. Hogaya hain tujeko toh Pyaar sajana... Lakh karle tu inkaar sajana ...is all I have to say to Sanam!

Poor guy Aahil...happy birthday to me! Don't worry babe, your 31st Birthday will be a lot more memorable. You will get a cake and some! :)

I dunno know if they are in love yet. But I think Sanam believes in honoring the marriage. So she is going thru the motions. They both are committed to each other. But the circumstances around the marriage are so abrupt that neither of them notice the others efforts.

On Aahil's end instead of accepting the gesture of the cake. On Sanam's end Aahil's why did you marry me question, do you understand the meaning it was like he was looking out for her and she did not see it.

Your questioning eyes are sad. They
seek to know my meaning as the moon
would fathom the sea.
I have bared my life before your
eyes from end to end, with nothing
hidden or held back. That is why you
know me not.
If it were only a gem, I could break
it into a hundred pieces and string
them into a chain to put on your neck.
If it were only a flower, round and
small and sweet, I could pluck it from
its stem to set it in your hair.
But it is a heart, my beloved.
Where are its shores and its bottom?
You know not the limits of this
kingdom, still you are its queen.
If it were only a moment of pleasure
it would flower in an easy smile, and
you could see it and read it in a
moment.
If it were merely a pain it would
melt in limpid tears, reflecting its
inmost secret without a word.
But it is love, my beloved.
Its pleasure and pain are boundless,
and endless its wants and wealth.
It is as near to you as your life, but
you can never wholly know it.

Rabindranath Tagore.

Of course she cares.
If she didn't, she her monologue would have been different post Nikkah. She didn't also add that she was married to a man she hates and could never love. But only lamented that a man who doesn't understand such things is her husband.
