Brilliant post ... My opinion exactlyy... The character is a v well written one esp fr a daily indian soap which mostly r illogical... Exactlyy the way u pointed. Mostly they create a lot of hype n wen it comes out ut really falls flat... His past has been shown from beginning n v well placed with the on going track..
Secondly the character change has been shown brilliantly as well... U can feel this guy is a changed one from the moment he has been bitten by the love bug ... That life altering hug changed his life forever but for good... U just cannot beleive that its the same guy ... But the changw has been brought so beleivably n powerfully that its so justified... He is not same anymore. Love has changed his entire existence.. He doesnot react the same way as before... He decided he will hate sanam but wen she comes infront of him he just cannot control his feelings... Its so relatable.. He is helplessly n hopelessly in love.. And it shows...
Even the masjid going part... U dnt feel it like now he has changed so how suddenly a person like him is keeping fast n starting going to masjid... His life has been turned upside down ... Lately he has been spending a lot of time with himself so its not strange if he has decided to think about his life his ways n if hes trying to change that too is justified... All in all... A beautifully written character.. Portrayed by an equally beautiful and awesome actor KVB ...hes the reason y this netamorphosis has been so amazingly shown
