@roopathomas, When Khushi stopped Arnav from telling the truth to his family, while writing that part the only thought in mind was that he was the eldest son in the house and the person, the whole family looked up to. And this is a great responsibility. It means that you are a icon for your family. But if his image would have broken before them then the family would have lost faith in him and that could have destructed the family. Because he was the string who joined each member and tied them in a strong hold.

And being the wife of such man you too need to bear some of his responsibilities, one of them being giving your best to strengthen the knot of bonding in the family. And Khushi was doing just that, fulfilling her responsibility of his wife, by keeping his image intact before the family so their bond didn't break.

And about giving her respect back, well read this part and the coming one, hope you will find it satisfied...😊

Err...I'm sorry for the late Un-Res Di. I was jumping here and there about random things and the new MAMR teaser that got released and all. So was late in editing my res post here. 😳

The update really was worth the wait Di. This has answered many questions about the actions of Arnav. Yes, I did question why did he want to do it when he know it would effect his Di now. But it was also lingering that he have realized by now that the truth out now or after is going to anyways hurt Anjali, if not it will hurt more in future. 👍🏼

But listening to Arnav, him saying the reason behind his actions of producing the truth before the whole family, has clearly cleared my fogged up mind on this matter. And the way he added at last that he wanted Khushi to be peaceful and happy before leaving the house and not be tensed up about Shyam when she goes out, those words has got me to respect him more. As Khushi thought to herself, even without knowing he had given Khushi the top priority this time. 😃

And Khushi's calm and collected behavior when he asked her to sign some papers really shocked me too. But that shock had doubled when he explained what were those for which she signed. 😲 The idea that the marriage was just a sham was painful though, but then he made it legal before she goes. That's really...I don't know what to say? Good? Nice? Awesome? Or bad? Not bad for sure, but that's just so nice of him, I guess. 😕

And then he said, he just want to be called as her husband, even after she may go away and get divorced too (Which I don't ever want, and you will not even do too, I know 😉) . That really was a moment of 'bittersweet'.

Really really loved the update Di. The last break down was too emotional to hold back some in my eyes. So I just have to let them down. So too much emotional one. 😭

Waiting for the next part of the update Di. Hope it's soon!

That was fabulous...

What a change in Arnav...

Khushi for the first time witnessed Arnav putting Khushi first and thereby what he wants and not what his sister wants at the expense of him...

Khushi also realized that Arnav has put her well being and legal status in the society and family before his own and for the first time in his life acknowledged that somebody else is of utmost value and as essential as air to breathe in his life. After his mom he has listened to his heart for the first time as to what Khushi needs...

Lovely update indeed...
