Hayee...Nahi Rehna Dooja Banke...
O rangrez tere rang dariya mein
O rangrez tere rang dariya mein
Doobna hai bas tera banke
Haaye nahin rehna dooja banke
I still remember one of our most favorite and awesome writers in this forum, MoronsKiMallika, had once written a post about the kind of love Rudra have for his Paro. The love that was all consuming...the love that did not allow Paro even a breath away from him. And how true did it turn out when he confessed his love to her on the railway tracks:
"Agar tu mujhe chod ke chali gayi na Paro, toh main marjaunga...
Nahi reh sakta main tere bina...
Nahi rehna chahta main tere bina..."
This was the turning point for Rudra. He let all his guards down and made it known to Paro that he is nothing without her ...All his love...began showing in his actions...n his words:
"Tu...Mein...Hamesha"...
A promise he made to her as he tied the scarred mangalsutra around her neck. There was no stopping him from there on...he yearned her...he wanted her...he needed her...all for himself:
"kal raat tune kuch lakire kheech li thi humare beech...
Uss har lakir ko meeta dunga...
Ab tere bhi bas ka nahi main"
A message of his yearning for her that conveyed to her "ek bhi saas alag nahi lena"...He at every step have only and only assured Paro...that till the end of breath of them both...he will not let her sway away from him ...even a millimeter...he promised her that he will not let anyone or anything destroy their little world...he gave her his word of a man...that he will ensure they never separate:
"Koi Alag Nahi kar payega hume...
Kisi ko nahi aane dunga humare beech...
Vadah karta hoon Paro..."
In turn Paro promised him a secure family life...a life that will not repeat history...a life that will ensure their child will have a happy and a healthy upbringing:
"Aap ka anushashan, mhaari mamta
Aap ka zidd, mhaari shraddha"
And rudra ended with..."Tera pyar...Mera Ghussa"....summing up that even in the marital bliss of life...even in the future...come what may...I shall only and only extinguish the fire within me through the water of your love!
Yes...my dear fellow members...after all this being done and said in the story...a leap cannot take away this basic essence of PaRud. Rudra is from Paro and Paro is from Rudra. So the only hope and the only light that I have finally managed to see in this darkness is Rudra, the man himself. Like Paro once said...to the world he maybe look as the destroyer...but he is the light in the darkness...he is the heat in the cold and so I can only say that if CVs are keeping Rudra alive...then Paro is not going anywhere. If they are killing Paro's character but keeping Rudra alive...then this killing is not permanent and the only explanation I have to defend this is by saying what defines PaRud and how they culminated their bond of love and marriage in unity on SR:
O rangrez tere rang dariya mein
O rangrez tere rang dariya mein
Doobna hai bas tera banke
Haaye nahin rehna dooja banke
Ek bhi saans alag nahin leni
Ek bhi saans alag nahin leni
Khench lena praan is tan ke
Haaye.. nahin rehna dooja banke
As Krishna in Mahabharat says..."Swayam Vichaar Kijye"😳
