I may me over analyzing here but i just felt there was something significant about, Sanam serving him first then he eating the food, though unwillingly and hurt he eats it.

This is an analogy to the marriage...

Further Rehaan just sulked and cried. he didn't eat...

Am so glad somebody made a post about it.

Was thinking the same.

The size of the bite,and the way he was eating as if he is going to choke and Billi forcing him to allow Sanam to serve him all very symbolic.
