no drastic ideological conflict between various taliban-type parties in pakistan and secular indian philosophies?😛 how old is taliban.. how long it may last... how old is islam... so all idealogies may span a few generations after which eveyone is tired...
with india and pakistan, the only thing common between the two people for the most part is shared history, that also some of it negative. and yes, some of the whisky and gazal loving types in both punjabs. another thing that some of it might be clandestine on one side😆 all this commonality is big and may count in a big way
only conflicting ideology in the case of the two germany's was economic. rest was the same- race, religion, culture, shared history for most of their existence, a history that was generally positive. even in the area of economic system, there was agreement that after merger, the nation would be capitalistic.capitalism and communism that is big.. one is expecting to be taken care of other is expecting to live by market dynamic.. creates a big void... but because the other things which are common.. it might work.....
as it is, we have regions cry about "foreigners" coming into their state, about stealing jobs, about not getting their fair share of the federal pie or government appointments, about the need for uniform/ non-uniform civil code. Wonder what would happen in a united states of india and pakistan with stark religious differences adding to the toxic mix😊 we have a huge polulation of muslims and thats nothing to make it a toxic mix.. muslims contribute to our culture... with some difficulty Pak is going to blend somewhere only if the people intend..
