I was waiting for someone to post a OS on this topic but then decided why dont i myself write one? So here is my story! All charcters rights reservered for qubool hai! Im just merely using their names and concept to put my imagination on the forum!:) hope you guys like it and please comment, i always like to hear what people have to say about my weiting, good or bad!:) here it is
Ahil couldnt take it anymore. He didnt expect to be wished by a lot of people but couldnt Rehaan or Ammi remember? After Sanam was done feeding Ahil for the ceremony, Ahil went to his ammi all dejected.
Ahil: ammi can i have your permission to go to my room?
Tanveer: sure beta the ceremony is done. Sanam im going to go pray why dont you join me?
Sanam: yes begum sahiba ill be there in a minute.
As tanveer was talking to sanam ahil had already started to make his way up the stairs.
Tanveer: Ahil beta i almost forgot...
Ahil:(in his head) yes finally ammi remebered my birthday. I knew i shouldnt have gave up so soon.
Ahil: yes ammi
Ahil said with a smile growing on his face.
Tanveer: Remeber when the lawyer comes, you bring your birth certificate.
Hearing that Ahil's growing smile immediately dropped and he was not able to control his tears anymore and quickly replied ji ammi and ran to the only place he found santuary, the gardens. (I dont know if thats really where he finds santuary but for now lets just pretend ot is!)
As Ahil was leaving Sanam could not help but notice something was definetly wrong with Ahil. Maybe he didnt like that fact i was married to him and now i was feeding him instead of Nida Sanam thought. Though that was what was going on in Sanam's head, she knew in her heart that it must be something else because he looked so broken up.
Tanveer: Sanam beta lets start heading to the prayer room.
Sanam: ji begam sahiba just let me go get something from my room and then ill meet you there.
With that Sanam started to head towards hers and Ahil's room. Once she reached she took her parents picture out because for her, they were her only main support in this big house now. As she started to walk back to the door she noticed Ahil's birth certificate and she happened to see his birth date and now realized why Ahil looked so broken.
Sanam: Hai Allah! No matter how horrible a person could be, no one should not have their birthday forgotten.
With that Sanam headed to the prayer room but also formed a plan in her head which, she didnt realize would bring these two damaged souls together.
Ahil started heading to his room when he lost all hope of someone actually coming and wishing him. As he got in the room a wind blew and he noticed it coming from the balcony room.
Ahil: i should close that i dont really want to call anyone to clean the leaves out of my room or worse clean it myself.
As Ahil headed towards the balcony he noticed a dim light amd got curious. When he stepped outside he didnt know what to say!! He saw a cake with candles and his name written on it. He started to cry with tears of joy. He was about to set outside when his ammi showed up.
Tanveer: Ahil beta.
Ahil thought that maybe his ammi got the cake for him and prepared himself to be wished.
Ahil: ji Ammi.
Tanveer: ahil beta im here to just remind you to fax lawyer ji the birth certificate ok?
Ahil couldnt believe it. The day was about to end soon and all his Ammi could remember is that he needs to send his birth certificate to the lawyer yet doesnt remember the date on those papers and realizes what special is about this day. With all the courage he could muster and allow himself to not break in front of his ammi he answered a ji ammi ill get to it and once tanveer left he headed back to the balcony only this time he looked at the cake with only pity. He sat down near the cake and started to tear up.
Ahil: Happy Birthday to me, Happy Birthday to me, Happy birthday dear Ahil, Happy birthday to me
Ahil whispered to himself choking while singing because of the tears getting in the way. He cut the came and ate a small peice of it to himself. Then he decided he would put it in the fridge and go to the orphanage near the new house he had bought where be realized his feelings for Sanam and celebrate his birthday with them since no one cared about him enough at his own house. Once he put the came away and started heading to the room he started to wonder sho put the cake there in the first place. As he entered the room he saw Sanam heading to the balcony and followed her. She had not noticed him yeg and something in the back of his head told him to hide.
Sanam: i hope be liked the birthday cake. I kind of had left it in the oven a little too long so it must have been a little hard. Oh Sanam! You should have at least put a glass of milk for him. Oh well what is done is done. Though i may not like the man that much it stung my heart a little seeing him cry like that. I hope allah puts sense in these people that they remember that its his birthday and wish him tomorrow morning. Well i should probably head to my room. I dont want to ruin his mood even more by showing my face to him on his birthday.
With that Sanam started to leave and was by the door when it automatically closed on her. When it shut Sanam couldnt help but close ber eyes and fear for the worst. Because she now realized that maybe Ahil had figured out it was her who made the cake and she knew he didnt really like her.
Ahil: why? Why did you make the cake?
Sanam stood there her back facing him, eyes shut tight, mute.
Ahil: TELL ME SANAM! Why is the one person who hates my existence the only one who cared enough to make a CAKE for my birthday while the ones that are supposed to love me cant even remember to wish me.
When Ahil say that Sanam was still facing the door he marched to her and spun her around and questioned her again.
Ahil: WHY SANAM? WHY?
Sanam still didnt answer him.
Ahil: Answer me Sanam! WHY?!?
Sanam: I DONT KNOW OK!?! I just i couldnt help myself and i just i dont know.
Sanam whispered the last part.
Ahil stared at her contemating her answer. After a while he opened the door with the remote and Sanam took that as her que to leave when she heard ahil say.
Ahil: thank you Sanam. Thank you for giving me hope on my birthday.
Sanam turned to see his face and could clearly see the gratitude in them.
Sanam: If i was in your place, i hope you would have done the same thing for me.
With that Sanam left to her room and that night both started to see the others true light and slowly the walls around both of their hearts began to melt.
