Today's Take ... Elopement Off, Engagement On

Elopement off, engagement on ... that in a nutshell, was the episode. And additionally, Shantanu well on the way to being exposed.

The first half of the episode was paced well ... Shatabdi strolling into Mohini's room ... ah, Mohini wants her 31 lakhs, I knew she wouldn't let go if it so easily. Shatabdi wants her munh dikhayi gift ... and Mohini discovers Sunehri's theft.

Just as Paro comes running to tell everyone that Sunehri is missing ... and so is Shantanu ... money gone too, so she comes to the instant conclusion that they have run away together.
Since it is Paro's turn to have brains, obviously she is right. Plus of course, she's the only one who knows about the grand SuSha love story.

Shantanu and Sunehri ... drive ... then Shantanu stops ... his work is done.

Family drama starts ... Mohini of course blames Paro for everything ... first for putting ideas of love marriage into Sunehri's head ... then encouraging her to elope ... Paro denies it ... then for everything that has happened in the house.

Paro drags Rudra off to tell him about SuSha ... Rudra (most unfairly) blames her for not telling him earlier 😡 ... banna, when did you have fursat to listen to her, in between your important office work and your sleeping like Kumbhkaran? Remember she said she wanted to tell you something ... why didn't you make sure to ask her what?

Typical husband! 😆

As expected, Shantanu returns ... with hangdog look and apologies ... and Sunehri in tow ... he will nobly sacrifice his love, because he cannot see her parted from her family ... he is a poor orphan soul ... yada yada ...
Paro gets in a slap to Shantanu ... Sumer and Samrat beat him up ... Rudra stands behind the curtain (or rather, his BD does 😛) ... and tells them to go ahead.

Shantanu's noble sacrifice and sorrowful speech doesn't find many takers ... Paro is unimpressed ... so are Sumer and the rest ... and Shantanu starts walking out of the haveli, hoping and praying someone in the family will be dumb enough to fall for his sob story. Since he had to stay, the CVs picked another character to sacrifice ... Danveer's turn ... the fond father decides that an orphan BSD junior officer with no known family, is the best possible choice for his only daughter ... and the engagement will be ... tomorrow. No need to ask anybody from the boy's side, after all, he is an orphan.

Danveer makes Sisodiya sa look like an ideal father! 😆

So the elopement is off ... the engagement is on.

Kostin - why do all daily soaps have engagements and weddings at 1-4 days notice, and how do they still manage the grandest and most fancy decorations and arrangements for them? Would love to borrow their decorators!

Paro the detective

Through the episode ... one character, and her worry, was consistent ... Paro. Once her suspicions are raised, they don't die easily. She listened to Shantanu's noble speech with none of her usual sympathy ... for the first time, the orphan angle didn't evoke any reaction from her ... She would have allowed Shantanu to leave the house with her blessing ... once her trust is eroded, it's gone ... and the person has to work very hard to win it back.

Her shock when Danveer announced the engagement was visible ... however, she couldn't say anything then. But further investigations are necessary, so she sets them rolling ... the call to her (brand new 😛) masi about where she saw Shantanu earlier ... and the follow up ... the worry when her masi speaks about where she saw Shantanu ... at her first marriage ... the tension building up...

The day of the engagement ... Paro distracted, waiting for the phone ... masi calls ... and the wonders of modern technology, she sends Paro the photograph of Shantanu over the phone ... a photo with Varun at his wedding with Paro. The phone of course dies just as the photograph is downloading ... Paro's feverish impatience as she rummages for a charger ... plugs the phone in as quickly as she can ... could feel the tension and worry in Paro as she watched the picture download ... and then the shock as she sees the face of her first husband, Varun ... and the flashbacks of her wedding ... interspersed with Mala and masi saying they've seen Shantanu ... her almost finding the picture under his pillow ...

One small PaRud conversation ... which I didn't like 😕 Rudra, instead of being happy that Paro was suspicious of Shantanu and finally agreeing with him, instead seems to have changed his mind completely about Shantanu and is now annoyed that Paro has changed hers. So has he believed all of Shantanu's answers?

Rudra has lost his brains ... his character taking a beating here.

Precap - Shantanu exposed, shoots Paro ...

Are the cvs rushing to catch a train here? Why the supersonic speed? 😕

A Brand New Love Story ... ShaSu 😆

A short post for the newest love story in town ... ShaSu ... Shatabdi-Sumer ... not to be confused with SuSha ... SunehriShantanu 😉

And it started with a bang ... with a trip, fall ... and no catch 😆

Can I say, this is one I'm looking forward to? For all of the three and a half scenes it might be granted by the cvs, of course ... after which Shatabdi will probably announce her pregnancy, much to Mohini's joy ... but probably just after Paro announces hers 😆

Hellooo fellow RRians... Sorry for the delay in my posts... Hope you don't mind... Real Life is sucking in so much time these days that, I don't even realize when it is day and when it is night anymore 😆😆... Just completed watching the episode... And will try to write as sensible and nice post as I can in this highly exhausted state😳... Please bare with me...

So, as I expected the episode was not as scary as the precap and also as I said yesterday, Shantanu did bring Sunheri back... Paro immediately realizes that the new found love birds have flew away from the nest... She finally, finally tells her Major Saab about the budding love story of her 'not so innocent' nanand and his 'honhar officer' Shantanu... Only to be blamed of not trying hard enough to tell him about it earlier... Like, Seriously??? Rudra Banna... Please rewind how you were sleeping for past two days 😉. One night out and you are out for past 2 days. Now, don't blame Paro..

And, Mohini is not far behind... She without wasting a second, blames it all on Paro like always.. Unbelievable... But the best of the whole scene for me was when Rudra came to his Paro's rescue... I love it when he does that and will never get tired of seeing that😳.. Finally after all the drama of Mohini, three least active men of the house try to jump into action only to be stopped abruptly, to their disappointed ... Oh! Sorry, I meant happiness, that Sunheri is back... I loved, that slap from Paro. You go girl ... Her disappointment and anger were quiet visible in that one slap... And her question, you tried to take advantage of me??? You got it perfectly right, Paro. That was exactly what he was doing... 😡

I am very proud and happy to see our Paro not budge even the slightest to Shantanu's crocodile tears and orphan card.. She is someone who sticks to her beliefs and instincts👍🏼.. And I love her for that. Coming to Kakusa... What do I say about him... He chose today of all days to shine as a father and Man of the house .. For the first time he spoke against Mohini... And instead of enjoying it, I couldn't help but hit my head watching it... How can he just say yes to a rishta just like that because the boy and girl love each other... Ok, I get it... He wants a Ghar Jamayi so that he can play father-daughter all the life... But what was the rush to get them engaged??? He could have asked Shantanu to call someone close to him from his side at the least.. Could have sat him down and asked him few personal questions. But, No. He was eager to get them engaged, just as eager as Sunheri was to elope... His first decision towards his family is going to turn out to be the worst one ever... He didn't even try listening to Mohini.. I am surprised... Kakusa, where do you hide this man when we need him the most??😛

Suddenly, elopement saga became the thing of the past and the whole family was delighted by this ristha. Seriously??? That fast 😳.. Everyone looked excited about the engagement, except Paro.. She can sense something was wrong. Gut feeling. She is not happy with the turn of events.. Unable to do anything. She tries to confide in her Major Saab... But to my surprise, he brushes it off. And even walks out of there without giving it a second thought. Like, What the?? CV's, Is this really our Major Saab??? 😕

As a last resort, Paro calls her Kaki of Birpur... And just in the nick of time the connection is lost... These network connections I tell you... They never work when we need them too. Just like Kakusa😉.. Paro tries and fails to reach the lady till it was almost time for the engagement. How convincing and realistic😆... The phone saga doesn't end here... The pic it loads up to 20%, I am biting my nails as much tensed as Paro and the cell dies on her again... Like really?? That phone needs to be in a bin. I tell you... Rudra, gift our Paro a new phone next time😉. Kabhi buffering problem tho kabhi charging problem🤔.. Hadh hai yaar. But at the end, all the hard work of Paro pays off and she sees the true face of Shantanu... He looked so disfigured in the picture that even I was confused as to which was his true face.. The cute dimple one we see everyday or the one in pic 😆... That was the worst morphed picture I ever saw... God! that was hilarious...

Oh! how could I forget... Sumeer and Shatabdi, dhak dhak scene was really good.. I was giggling and laughing through out it... And the awkwardness on their faces when Maithili walks in on them... Hilarious... I am loving these two more by each day..😃

Precap, what can I say??? RR is express fast... Did any of you see, "Now you see me, Now you don't" movie... No worries if you didn't because it doesn't matter... But the title is so apt for RR tracks... This month, this week, this day you see a track and the next you don't.. The tracks start and end in the blink of an eye 😆.. Till yesterday Shantanu had the upper hand and today Paro changed the whole equation of the game.. He very carefully built a house of cards for weeks while Paro brought it down with a one single blow in a day... Shantanu is smart, I have no doubt about it but his only mistake like I said yesterday is underestimating Paro... 😊

I really have no idea what I wrote today... Pardon any mistakes.. Asli Duniya is killing me these days... Will be back after a little break.😊

What a dhasu post ,super penmanship 👏

So many deadlines ...BB starting , Low TRP's , maybe a new time slot ( if TRP's are up ) The CV's had to catch the Shatabdi . 😆

Why do members think ST failed biology class 😕 Don't think he said ,July 22nd was SR ...the couple have been sharing a bed for the past two mths , with 8 yrs experience ...sure the man fulfilled his bodily needs much before July 22nd 😆 July 22nd was last attempt to gain some brownie pts for Trp janta.

I am loving the new lovebirds in town 😛...Sumeir's expression are phenomenal , I am glad he got a chance to showcase his talent . Mohini is cursed ...Bholenath will make sure she won't be blessed with a grand child .

Danveer WT* ...man your wife definitely did a good job finding suitable partners for the boys ...You are right Diya , Mr Shasodia has standards .😛

Paro looked gorgeous ,and am glad she was given the center stage in this track .

Shantanu will return at some point and hope don't share the same fate as Tejawat CV's plz not another villain ...you have two bring them back with a bang .

Scene 1: The Case of lost jewels, money, Sunheri and Shantanu ->

Shatabdi comes into her MIL's room and asks for her muh-dikhayi gift... Doesn't wait fro her MIL and goes to find something for herself!!!! She finds every box empty and is being her usual sarcastic self when Mohini pushes her aside on hearing that there is no money no jewel!!!!

One question: Why were they throwing dialogues as if they are to catch a flight to Alaska???

Okay, Mohini is in hysterics finding her precious possessions gone and rushes out shouting for help in locating them!!!! Paro comes in at the same time and says that Sunheri is missing to and pops in Maithili too with a missing report for Shantanu!!!!! Rudra or his BD comes and utters a few inconsequential lines about Shantanu having gone out for his morning dose of body-building...

Question 2: Is the Army responsible for such petty matters as theft???? Agreed you have 3 people from BSD residing at your home, but still wouldn't just the police have been enough???

Moving on, everyone except Mala and Dillu, connect the dots and reach the conclusion that SuShan must have run away!!!!! Mohini is once again mad at Paro for instigating her "bholi si, massoom si bacchi" and is ready to fire away missiles at Paro... Original Rudra's face and his BD's body decide to butt in with a reminder that not to talk to Paro that ways, and our in-house Sherlock decides to bite the bullet herself!!! Putting in points in her defence and against SuShan!!!!! Maithili very conveniently says What if they ran away and got married???? Like seriously????😕

Cut aside the family drama, and we have SuShan's romancing in some side lane, on way to Jaipur!!! 😛

Question 3: Is this guy really the villain he was meant to be????🥱 Ask him to go watch some crime thrillers, then maybe he'll know how real villains behave!!!!

Back to the family drama...

Rudra is getting very attached to Sunheri... He was going all ballistic on hearing that Sunheri has run way, replete with "Meri Behen" and all...
Continued family drama and Kaku-sa is only too eager to marry off his youngest daughter, now that even his good-for-nothing son has settled!!!! Sunheri is only too happy to

Okay, moving on to the good things...

SCENE 2: Freshly brewing love story:

SuSha - You have a very funny and uncanny love story beginning to brew!!!! 😆
I am loving them both... Something to elevate my mood!!!! Tongue

How sweet of Shatabdi to get coffee for everyone???

Scene 3 (Paro) : The tech-savvy in-house detective and superwoman:

Now, the seedhi saadhi gaon ki chhori has become all tech-savvy... WhatsApp-ing with an old aunty for her dead ex-husband's picture!!!! Good lord, here we were thinking she doesn't know how to operate a smartphone!!!! By the way, was that an Xperia Uno???? *curious*

Wow CVs... Excellent thought for women empowerment!!!! Ohh she also slapped Shantanu... Yay!!!!! Sumer and Samrat also beat him up... Wow... *Claps*
For once Sumer was supported by Rudra... Sumer must be feeling very proud of himself!!! And the guy loves his sister, a lot!!! I am liking Sumer...
Rudra has been made just a prop in all scenes!!! Even the use of the BD is apparent now, more than ever!!!

PRECAP:
This is the best part of the episode!!!!! Shantanu shoots, Paro faints and Rudra is panicked!!! This will most probably be different than the actual scene, but heck, I am all for some serious drama from the leads... Shantanu's creepy smile at the end is what a villain should be flashing!!!!

A LOT happened today. I wish the CVs would take a couple of days (or at least 1 extra day) just to let the family process everything that has happened. This track had so much potential! It has been moving faster than the speed of light! Whooosh! The Flash would be proud. But I digress. On to the episode.

The New Nancy Drew

Paro has been becoming more techno-savvy in the past couple of weeks. There was a time she didn't know how to use the landline, and here she is downloading photos on her cellphone and getting SMS messages from Aunties in different cities. Though I applaud her for her intellect, it would have been nice to see Rudra teach Paro on how to use such technology before all this happened. It would have been a sweet Kodak moment in RR-land.

Finally, the truth about Shantanu is out! Paro's realization at the end of the episode was bang-on! All the past memories of her marriage to Varun came back after she saw that picture, which by the way was a HORRIBLY photoshopped!

I can't wait to see how Rudra will react tomorrow!

The Love Story of the Ages - Literally

The CVs are bold in showing a love story between an older woman and a younger man on a desi channel. At least, I'm assuming Sumer is younger than Shatabdi's 31 years. Isn't Rudra 28? Logically speaking, Sumer has to be around that range if they were in the same class in school. But who knows what the CVs are thinking? I'm just going to pretend that they're broad-minded and are daring enough to incorporate this issue here.

That was quite a scene between Sumer and Shatabdi. What passion! What attraction! Why, it rivals our Rudra and Paro's intensity! O_o Hahaha, just kidding! But, it was a nice moment between the two. There is hope for them! And hopefully Sumer will get some happiness out of it!

Shot-Gun Engagement

That was literally the fastest preparation for an engagement I have ever seen! What's going on? Is Sunehri pregnant or something? And Kakusa, he disappointed me today just like his daughter did yesterday. I thought he was a great father before, but not today. I understand bending towards your child's whims but there's a limit to such things. This is MARRIAGE. Not some toy at the toy store that your daughter wants to badly that she'll throw a tantrum for it!

And finally...

The Precap

OMG. I'm so scared! That was nicely directed. The BG music was fantastic as well! It was great seeing an overprotective Rudra once more!

I'll come back later and write responses to all the takes. I have to get to lecture. So, I might be a little late with those!

I'm laughing like a crazy person today reading all the posts.🤣🤣

The Sha-Su scene with awesome bg score, the village masi sending pic , the spoilers, the leap and then Joseph's line " Bhaisa Thursday ko himsa nahi karthe" I'm on laughing riot.😆

Episode super fast after the entry of Shatabdi.😆 Surprisingly I'm getting adjusted 😆 because I'm not expecting any more, they are giving enough surprises.

Sanaya's expressions again fabulous.

Overall nice episode for their intention of fast track change.

Hope they have their scirpt/story line proper this time.
