with changing times, these things chnage

when we were growing up, saying word like ssexy were considered ill bred and taboo, now even 7 yr olds say sexy and stuff on tv reality shows

But can Honey Singh be the only one blamed here? Yes, his songs are not meant for the young. But so many songs in Bollywood have lyrics that are just very inappropriate for the young generation. And like LeadNitrate said with times changing, so does music. We don't hear the soulful music with beautiful lyrics that we once heard back in the 90s. What the audience wants today is what these singers give.

As parents, however, isn't it your responsibility to make sure your kids don't listen to such songs that you do not wish them to listen to? If you blame the singers, you have to blame yourself too. And then if they hear it from a 3rd party, then that's different.

Kids these days grasp onto things very fast. Either parents need to do something about it or the society does. And I don't think the latter will ever do anything. So it's up to the parents to try their best in making sure their kids learn right from wrong, bad from good, etc.
