There are many nice things in bits in today's episode but I can't jot them down as I gotta pour my frustration. Is it not amazing how Yamini can not even question her father when he misbehaved with the waiter but she doesn't feel the consequences of her changing the script! They discussed didn't the? Nikumbh tried explaining but she chose to change the topic during the dance! I so wish I could slap her right away when she said that Shakuntala ko Nikumbh ne banaya hai toh woh dil ka sunegi! For God sake she is NOT the director, just a friend of the director, even if the bestest of friends. She has no right to change the script on the stage then and there, especially after Nikumbh explained it to be his interpretation which is pretty different from the mainstream stories. Even if she still cannot respect his decision then she just DOES NOT have the bloody right to change the ending at the spot!
*Breathes in an out and in and out*

Okay! SHe said it was Shakuntala 's last day? Then do we expect to see her back to square one from the day after? I am actually feeling the pain Nikumbh is to go through and here she thinking about literally nothing!

I mean is she stupid? SHe chose to not tell Nikumbh that she hadn't completed the task of getting her mobile back once upon a time as she feared to break his trust and what happened now? I really am too flushed at the moment! Even if this post is coming out in impulse it isn't as impulsiveas Mini's deed!

I so wish it was a nightmare, but sigh it is reality!

I am loving the show at the moment! I know this is how things go wrong in real life too...I am not even complaining about the character made by the writers as it is how she has to be shown but the temporary frustrations had to come out this way!

Iptisha...

Will make more posts soon on how I can't help but respect Nikumbh more and more and the plot and sequences!!

Definitely the post is on impulse! And the writer is magical as he gives us reasons to cringe and then again he justifies every act beautifully, the beauty of realism and art!

Not to slight your frustration ...but i think otherwise. Let me tell you what i think , ok...i will TRY 😃
Yamini Could NOT have said a word to her dad about his misbehavior with the waiter because she is STILL scared of him, esp when he is angry. Also, she doesnt have the 'authority' over him. She feels raghu is always doing things that are right for her.

Coming to Nikumbh, she feels they are equals and friends. Yes, she is taking liberties in the diro-actor equation and that is not right, if you look at it strictly. But here they are more than that, atleast she feels he is her khaas dost. Her changing of script stems from two points
1. She understands a happy ending is a crowd pleaser, that will in turn benefit NIkumbh. She wants to help him, in a naiv-ish manner...since he is also getting a foothold in the industry.
2. This is how she actually WANTS it to end(in real life too, perhaps)

Also, important to note is this is her debut and she really doesnt have a freakin clue(as always) about what a PLAY is...yes, this still doesnt giver her the right to change. But thats because we are seeing it from a distance. If one of us were in the same spot, keen to 'help a friend/show to succeed, who knows! 😉

P.s didnt mean to say, there was nothing to fume about BUT i really dont think she was stupid...over eager, may be 😊

I like that review and as said it was on impulse..Tho I will say something there!
I know she and he are different in their opinions and the very basic element of the difference is she loves Fairytale ending and he believes love can't give happiness for reasons obvious!
The waiter scene to talk about, maybe she had no guts to argue or say anything to her dad, but she didn't ponder upon the situation even once, instead she was busy thinking of Nikumbh. That irked me! But then again, maybe she is used to it and hence didn't feel it uncanny when his dad did what he did!
The beauty of this show is that even if there are loopholes they can be justified...magical isn't it!
Though I know why she did what she did on the stage, she might have thought Nikumbh won't react then and there and play would end her way and would earn more appreciation as for her love is the element of joy and beauty in life!

I know I fumed much, that was on impulse! :P Hormonal you see...16 years loss much! xD
I guess the title has to be changed. Kyaa karein, I think the same way Nikumbh thinks so Yamini's ending seems too plastic! xP The sadist as I am!
Thanks anyway...Your name please?

Oh... You needn't change the title at all... I was just arranging for the knife to keel yams 😛
Magical in this logic less soap land, for sure! When a show makes an effort to 'sketch' the characters, it truly becomes a class apart.
In real life, its always better to have nikumbh's philosophy because as some mahaan writer said ' sapnon ki duniya mein sirf dil toothe hain"

Who mahaan writer? Did I tell you the character Nikumbh makes me watch the show with utmost interest! Be it his relationship with Azam (everyone deserves a friend like azam) or Raghu or Yams or anyone else! xP
BDW I loved both the side hugs, reality much! Both were needed and as friends they were perff! xD

You sound mega angry! 😆

I was actually expecting it. So it did not come as much of a surprise. I was only upset that she totally disregarded the bond of trust that she shares with Nikumbh. The trust that he had completely placed on her. But it is really good writing in the end! As Isha mentioned, and I admit I did not think of it that way, maybe she was just trying to help Nikumbh. After all she is a commercial star, and she has been successful that way. Ultimately, though, I think it just stems from a need to have a happy ending, because that is like Yamini. She believes in love like that! And she is full of that optimism. It is like she is, though the confidence and the inner voice that she found through the tasks found the wrong outlet.

This is how things go wrong. It is not contrived. And a wonderful way for the plot to move on from after the play ends. The beauty of good writing!

Knife kyon...

I will give the gadda Jamaal was holding...way more effective..

I am having a hard time understanding and empathizing with Yamini's perspective though her role is also author backed much like Nikumbh.

Yeah! The things going wrong isn't forceful! It is moving in a flow, beautifully sketched. I knew this was to happened as it already was hinted by the narrator, but when it was happening, I didn't anything but facepalmed all the freaking time. I am going to miss such a wonderful friendship and trust sequence big time! ): But that is much of a reality too...sadly!

Ahahaha!
BTW did Nikumbh shout at her before the play ended?

Well I am drenching into love for Nikumbh more and more now. The sorry scene, the way he shrugs and smiles, hugs and apologizes, shakes hand and comforts.

Yamini needs to ponder upon her deeds or else she will (she definitely will) have a hard time fixing the broken!
