With Kick, can we say that you are top of your career?
When I used to see any of the actresses working with the Khans, I use to be like wow! It was like they made it. You can't ask for more. And I thought I don't know when my chance will it come, how will it come, I thought it would probably come once I'll become an A list actor. And so now when actually it did come, I was in kind of like bit of shock because I didn't consider myself one.


How did Kick happen?
I think my timing worked big time. I think after being five years being in the industry, working hard, being at the right time at the right place, people slowly understood me. I'm someone who works hard. I have worked twice with Sajid Nadiadwala. He knows that I am someone who takes my work seriously. Salman has also witnessed my journey. Actually he knew me when I came to Mumbai for the first time. And before I signed Aladin. Ha has seen my constant growth. He always tells me that it's about hard work and I have applied that to this film too.


Have you ever kicked anyone in your life?
I have never kicked anyone. I have never slapped anyone. I've never pushed anyone. I don't like violence. Like you can get angry with someone but I don't believe in aggression and violence.

Would you like to date a person like him?
I think that he would actually make an amazing boyfriend. Because he is so caring and he is very loving person and I see that in him just as a friend. So I can imagine he'd be pretty amazing as a boyfriend. And every girl wants a guy who looks after them, takes care of them, loves them and he has those qualities.

What's your character in the movie and what's her importance in the story?
My character basically is the love interest of Salman's character Devil. And she is basically just his opposite in life. So Devil is very wild, crazy kind a guy. And she is serious, no nonsense but they fall in love and it's from her part, it's very beautiful love story. Of course, she goes through serious emotions through out the movie because there is betrayal, there is heartache, there is love, and there is revenge throughout the movie for her. It was very serious role for me to play. And a difficult role as well. You can understand why I was so much in shock when I got this movie (laughs). I was like you are giving me a Salman Khan movie and a performance oriented role. Really? It's a rare combination (Laughs).
