Have patience, my gut feeling is that Smriti will be back. All Ekta cares about is TRPs and replacing Smriti after 7 long years does not make good business sense. She will bring Smriti back, regardless of whether Gautami makes an impact or not (the odds are heavily against that due to the obvious pro-Smriti bias amongst the viewers). 😉
