Suicide Attempt - Randeep Hooda Starrer RANG RASIYA To Clash With SRK

Randeep Hooda's much delayed film Rang Rasiya' will finally see the light of the day. Buzz is the film will be clashing with superstar Shahrukh Khan's Diwali release Happy New Year'. A source close to the development said, "After Highway' and his upcoming film Kick', Randeep's career is on an upswing. There is a demand for his films. It makes sense to pull Rang Rasiya' out of the cans."

Jayantilal Gada has come on board as the presenter of the period drama, which was ready in 2008. Gada met director Ketan Mehta, on Monday regarding the said matter. The source further adds, "It was Ketan's birthday and Gada's thumbs up to his film was the perfect birthday gift. Ketan has waited six years for the movie to see the light of day."

However, when asked to comment on the massive clash with SRK, Gada said, "Shah Rukh is a big star and I'm not competing with him. But there is an angle in the film which justifies a Diwali release."
