7/22 Layi vi na gayi-Song dedication !!

Hello Everyone !!

This is what me and Sruthi came up with today !! Hope you all like it !!

The song we chose for today is Layi vi na Gayi by Sukhwinder Singh. This stanza of the song is dedicated to Zaya scene in the end of the episode. I have provided the english translation(in bold) so that you guys don't have any problem understanding the song.

Neither did you love nor did you honor your promises

This song basically talks about the state of mind of a lover when he feels cheated by his beloved. Today we got to see a broken Zain. A Zain who felt cheated. A Zain who let his emotions take over his rationality. A Zain who said the things he would not have ever said in his life especially after the confession. In brief, we got to see an old Zain who was hurt to the extent that he said ," tumse shaadi karna meri zindagi ki sabse badi bhool thi." I bet that many hearts were shattered when we heard him saying this. We BI audience have seen Zain saying this earlier in the Walima episode. The only factor, which distinguishes today's scenes from Walima episode, is the extent of truth in his words. At Walima episode he meant it but today he didn't mean it.

Why did Zain say this ??

This is where the song comes in. He never thought that Aliya will go against him. He felt cheated at the moment when he came to know that Aliya went to meet Gauhar being aware of the fact that Zain doesn't permit it. The moment he thought about Aliya not keeping her promise of her never going against broke him apart. His mind was continuously asking Aliya that "How did you forget your promise?" Zain felt like their relationship is no more precious to Aliya.

In the end, they both felt like their relationship is falling apart the same way a star breaks and falls from the sky.
