Kjo puts Sid M and Anushka S movie On Hold

Tarun Mansukhani seems to be going through a slightly difficult time. After apparently failing to come up with a suitable script for a sequel to Dostana' (2008), it is now rumoured that he is having problems with the script for his upcoming film, which is inspired by the French hit Priceless' (2006). Apparently the Sidharth Malhotra and Anushka Sharma starrer is now put on hold due to differences Mansukhani and producer Karan Johar are having over the script.
"There were some changes suggested by Tarun in the script, but Karan Johar did not like them. Later on, Tarun went ahead with some fresh changes and Karan didn't like them either. In the meanwhile, Sidharth Malhotra will now start shooting for Vikramaditya Motwane's next titled Bhavesh Joshi'. This is why Tarun's take on Priceless' has been put on hold," a source informed Mid Day.
After the success of Dostana', Mansukhani did direct an animated film for Dharma Productions, titled Koochie Koochie Hota Hai' (2012). However that film too saw much delay in its release.

The master storyteller, Karan Johar known more affably to his friends as KJo, has disapproved director Tarun Mansukhani's script for the Indian version of hit French film, 'Priceless'.
Tinsel town sources say that Siddharth Malhotra and Anushka Sharma will essay the lead roles in the Indian remake of Priceless.
The movie - Hors de Prix, directed by Pierre Salvadori and featuring Audrey Tautou and Gad Elmaleh as a lead pairs, is all about a young gold digger who mistakenly courts a polite bartender thinking he's a wealthy suitor.
The Indian version will be produced by Karan Johar; this project was ostensibly taken up after the ambitious Dostana 2 was dropped. It will be directed by Tarun Mansukhani, the director of Dostana.
Well-placed sources closer to production house said, "There were some modifications suggested by Tarun in the script, but Karan Johar did not like them. Later on, Tarun went ahead with some fresh changes and Karan didn't like them either. In the meantime, Siddharth Malhotra will now start shooting for Vikramaditya Motwane's next titled Bhavesh Joshi. This is why Tarun's take on Priceless has been put on hold."
