I had heard that Sonam and Fawad starrer Khoobsurat is the remake of Rekha and Rakesh Rosan starrer Khoobsurat.

I had watched Khoobsurat long bak and when I saw this new movie's trailer,i didn't feel it's a remake of that movie.The story looks totally different except for 2 similarities,Heroine stays in the hero's house and hero's mother is strict and dominating.Otherwise the movie looks totally different.

How many of u felt the same?

looks more like inspired by Princess Diaries. or maybe mix of both.

I saw only 2 similarities in both the movies.

1.Heroine goes and stays in the hero's house

2.Hero's mother is strict

It's not a remake and it is not Princess Diaries because she is not a princess. It maybe inspired by Disney films of unconventional princesses/leading ladies.
