Im not sure if I got the quote right lol.
But of what I did, I agree the best things in life are nearest to you...they
are simple and free. We stress out too much in life sometimes, tryin to
aim for the sky ...to point of losing the focus ...! But then, life's plain
common work doesnt have to come across as boring either. Its upto us to
find beauty and spice even in that in our own capacity. 😊

...I was just thinking about the sunrise and sunsets everyday. The sunsets
especially, cus nowadays the sunrise is at 4.00am in uk(!!) n Im definitely
not awake lol. But yh...around sunset, everyday the sky is painted in
different colours n shades for Mr. Sun...lol and then he just sits there
looking stunning against that background till he leaves this part of the
world. Today its pink, yesterday twas shades of orange n red! I think even
he tries to find something different n simple to bring in some colours in
his regular duties of rising and setting lol. Its just that we dont have time
to notice this ourselves.

I think we should learn something from nature..it keeps telling you so
many things in so many ways. We are just too preoccupied with life to
notice these things...dunno why 😕

our whole life we stress about the things that we don't have, but never bother to look at the things that we DO have. a lot of things in life we take for granted and when those things are taken away from us do we realize their true values.

we often look at others who are more attractive, wealthy, popular, better job, etc and maybe even get jealous of them. however, we never tend to look at those individuals who have less than us. be greatful for whatever God has given you because there is always someone out there who would be happy with all you have.

we desire to grab the stars and in our efforts to do so we may lose things that are more important and valuable to us.

keep life simple and be happy with what you have. never look at others and be envious of what they have, but be thankful for what YOU have.

Great thought by Robert Louis Stevenson. This reminds me of the saying that The Best Things In Life Are Simple and nearest. This also reminds us that the best things in life cannot be bought with love or money. The best things in life are right near us and we need not look beyond to seek happiness. It also reminds me of part of a poem my mom used to sing;

Kasturi mrug nabhi baasat hai,

Dhundhe ban ban mahi,

(Kasturi is right within the mrug or hiran but it smells it and keeps serching the whole jungle to find it, so the best things in life are right nearby us and we need not look far)

These are simple things in life that perk us up day in and out.

It's so right, hum khushi bahar dekhte hain jabki woh bahar kahin nahin apne antarman mein hai...

it means sukh (happiness) kahin bahar sansaar mein nahin hai sab sansaar mein dhoondh liya par jab insaan ke man mein santosh aa jata hai to baki sab chhezin vyarth ho jati hai... so basically happiness is in our inside we just need to feel it it's not in any materialistic thing....

i can't make up a quote... im not create like that LOL

BUT

I love the meaning of the quote. I love the idea that u jus go on with your life and those special things in life that u always yearn for will always be there .... closer than u think they are....


BUT...

do u not think that the message the the quote is in a way wrong.. it's telling ppl, in my opinion, not to be ambitiious and aim high.... ull get everything.... that's what I get out of it... and I think that's wrong.... because whatever I have achieved in school today is due to my ambition to become something 10 years from nowwww... you do have to work hard for thingsg...... but this jus kinda seems like jus do whatever and ull get what u want.... that's not wrong... but I don't like the idea that im getting of it of not being ambition...
