What's reason behind sucess of II?

hiya evryone..

so m back again.😆.Today i was sleeping and suddenly a thot came in my mind why do we watch indian idol?i noe i m strange..but yes exactly i want to noe why we r so addicted to ii..dere are other shows too but i think ppl r most addicted to ii..if we will compare singers saregama and svoi hav much much better singers dan ii..dey r all trained and really talented singers..and its not dat dat dose shows doesnt hav good judges and all da drama..but still i dont enjoy watching dose shows as much i lyk indian idol..wat do think wat makes indian idol a better show den SVOI and saregamapa..😳no matter how much we criticise ii and how much we criticise judges but truth reamins dat we still love ii..so wats de reason behind success of ii?

the reason is simple anku...Indian Idol was the first relaity show in India...i mean this sort of voting...everything was new for indians...the craze for II 1 was ubeleivable...after that a number of shows came but then ppl got bored of such shows...

but somehow ppl still connect with II...cuz it was the first of its kind...emotional attachment u see... 😊

u wont blv when II-1 final was on...the only thing pl used to talk everyhwhere was abt abhijeet n amit sana! newspapers, college, news channels...haha..ek hee baat hoti thi..its not the same now..but still II is popular... 😳

I can onli speak for myself...and the reason i loveee II much more than other musical talent hunt shows...is tht II has more class...i mean the other shows do have good singers..some better then wht II has....but still the other shows seem sickkk to me..somehw i don't like tht gajendra singh and his style of creating the show's...it seems fake,madeup, rehearsed, and even i'm not sure whether the contestants performances r pre-rehearsed, pre-recorded or wht..i mean they r all good singers no doubt...but somehow it does not have nearly as much class as II has...if i wanna give an analogy i'll say for me II is like SRK, or aamir khan...very classy and stylish, and srgmp or svoi is like ,ummm....govinda type, veryy sadakchaap, low class...this is just my personal opinion....and i don't wanna offend anybody by wht i have said.... 😳

btw...nice topic ankita..i loveeee II and would love to find out yyy is it the most popular...inspite of some really awful *hint*hint* singers too.... 😃

i like indian idol the most out of all the talent shows because i like the format (for the most part), its a funner show to watch, the judges (however annoying they may be at times) also make the show watchable (in the other two shows, the judges are too agressive)...the contestants are just more fun, with a good personality ( the contestants in the other shows are somewhat dull)...the hosts also make the show worthwhile...indian idol has all the elements that make a show good (drama, good talent, fun, excitement etc) however, the quality of singing is prolly the best in star one voice of india...
