I was born in NZ. Learned in English & Hindi at same time I guess. At home mostly hindi was spoken but at play school and kindergarten i learned english. Learned quicker tthan rather hindi for which i had to attend Sunday classes for few years.
From the options above HINDI but if go by roots and surname - It should have been Bengali

Local Sanstha's run Sunday classes for young kids. Dont know if it still happens. But my family was really keen on having my generation learn hindi. Hence I got better with Bollywood films
+ my nana/nani were from UP and with them around. I quite didnt get some of their slangs. So yeah. Hindi classes helped a bit i guess

English. My grandmother speaks Urdu but no one from my parents, cousins or aunts/uncles speak Urdu, it's English all the way.

We all understand Hindi, which is a different story. 😆 Blame television and movies.

Bangla (Bengali)

Bengali
/b"li/[5] or Bangla /b'l'/ ( Bangla [bala] ( listen)) is the language native to the region of Bengal, which comprises present-day Bangladesh and the Indian states West Bengal, Tripura and southern Assam.

The National Anthem of Bangladesh, National Anthem of India, National Anthem of Sri Lanka and the national song of India were first composed in the Bengali language. 👏

Marathi

And I hate the fact that All south indian languages are grouped. I know Kannada a little and I know they are very much different. I just hate how people group all together and stereotype it!
