Vidya Balan in Rituparno's films!

PARINEETA heroine Vidya Balan's career is flying high. After the Bachchans recently confirmed her to play the lead in AB Corp Ltd and Spice Team Entertainment's joint venture directed by Shrabani Deodhar, Vidya will now be working with famous Bengali director, Rituparno Ghosh in two films, one Bengali and the other Hindi. Both the films are being produced by the banner of Rama Entertainment (Guddu Dhanoa, Sunil Saini and Deepak Sharma), which had last produced SHEESHA and is now set to release, SISKIYAAN.

Says Sunil Saini, one of the partners of Rama Entertainment, who was instrumental in bringing about the two projects together, "Rituparno Ghosh was very keen on working with Vidya and it was his idea of casting Prasenjit and Vidya opposite each other. They'll make a wonderful pair on screen. We are planning to start shooting for the Bengali film first, after which the Hindi film, LONDON SUMMER, will follow. Vidya has already given her nod for the two films."

Vidya is also doing Rajkumar Hirani's sequel to Munnabhai MBBS, besides Vidhu Vinod Chopra's EKLAVYA (earlier titled YAGNA) which is currently being shot in Rajasthan.
