The set was Permanent for the show, though other sets were rented either temporally and permanently. Unlike the other sets, this one was using a Boom Mic instead of Lavs. I asked, and this was because the actors would be hugging, and the clip mic would pick up ruffling. We met with the on location editor, Rohit Anard. I asked if we would be able to use this amazing set for our short films. I took the request seriously, and told me that he might be able to get 2-3 of us when they were not filming. I might take him up on this, not for the film as that would be just not enough people to set up lighting and actors, but maybe for a quick youtube video.
The room where they were shooting the current scene was set up with a curved dolly that ran behind the male lead to watch the love interest tear up and fall into his arms. I have noticed a constant three-point lighting system between all the different shoots.
During the setting up times the male Lead Actor Viraf Pate came up and had a chat with us. He was a friendly bloke who loved nothing more, but talking himself up. He started in the navy before being voted Mr India in 2005, modelled and started acting. He gave me his email when I offered to send him a copy of my radio show that talked up the show and of course, him. We really wanted to speak to the director, however he apologised as he didn't speak english.
