Many people are saying that how can he not trust Kalpi. A few hours ago, and I would have said the same thing. But the reason of why its hard to choose is because of his mother. He had been without parents for such a long time and finally after so many years he got his mother back. And just because he doesn't believe her doesn't mean that he thinks they are lying on purpose. He could think they had a misunderstanding. He also had doubted Gauri once because he thought she eloped with some other man. Not trusting her that time proved to be a bad decision. On the other hand is Kalpi, who had brought happiness and love to his life. He had also doubted her once because he thought she was in cahoots with Prem. And that turned out to be a bad decision. His mother hasn't done anything else wrong before to doubt her, so why would he. And there is Kalpi, someone he would never doubt.
Frankly, I thought Kamla would use the notice as proof, but ofcourse they didn't...
Edit: But what Raghav should do is to investigate in this matter himself and he would find who the real culprits are
